0.62 lots is correct and 0.70 lots is a raise you did not vote on
Multi-step daily loss is $1,250, 5% of $25,000. The static maximum is $2,500, so $22,500 equity ends the account. Half a percent is $125. Majors pay $10 per pip at 1.00 lot, so a 20-pip stop wants 0.625 lots, which you will not be offered. Use 0.62 lots and the cash risk is $124. Use 0.70 lots because the ladder looks nicer and the cash risk is $140.
Gold is the clean print. A 50-pip stop at 0.25 lots is $125, because 0.25 times 50 times $10 is $125. The mistake is borrowing the 0.25 lot and putting it on an 80-pip stop, which is $200, or adding a second 0.25 lot because the first one looks small. Two gold ideas are $250 and they are often the same US dollar trade. Bot controls should count correlated metals as one risk, and they should refuse a ticket with no stop.
Phase 1 is $2,000 and one trade may own only $1,000
The Phase 1 target is $2,000. The next phase is $1,250, the same cash figure as one full day. Four minimum days still apply. That symmetry tempts people to risk $250 so the target feels close. Two losses at $250 are $500. Five of them are the whole day. The $125 unit needs more winners, and it also survives a morning that goes wrong.
Half of the $2,000 phase is $1,000 under the 50% single-trade cap. A brilliant gold session can fail that test without ever looking dangerous on the $1,250 loss meter. Gold 1-step on $25,000 is a $1,000 day and a $1,500 trailing maximum. If you are in that product, the $1,250 multi-step note is already $250 too loose. If the 6% maximum trails, a winning week can shrink leftover room even though the starting balance has not changed.
A $1,000 open gain is not spare cash at 00:00 CET
The daily anchor is day-start balance and equity at 00:00 CET. A $1,000 floating gold gain is 4% of this account. Held through the snapshot, it can become the base the next 5% is hung from. A full reversion then spends $1,000 of a $1,250 day while yesterday closed-trade profit still looks excellent. Book part of it. Leave a runner only if the runner cash is small next to $1,250.
Selected tiers allow a weekend hold. Sunday open gaps count in the new day, and a funded account later lives with a two-minute news window. A slipped stop still costs dollars against $1,250. Create a Venasri login and write the CET alarm on the same card as the $125 unit, not on a phone clock set to your home city.
Flatten near $1,062 and ignore round-number comfort
Equity Guard on the 5% book belongs near $1,062 of daily loss, not at a tidy $1,000 and not at the official $1,250. The $1,000 level gives away more buffer than this account can spare if gold slips. The $1,250 level is the firm print, which is too late. Gold 1-step should sit near $812 against the $1,000 day.
The fee refund, which can reach 200% of what you paid, is not a reason to widen the stop on this size. The invoice is settled after a pass. The $2,500 maximum is settled during the attempt. If you want the refund, you have to arrive there with the $125 unit still intact and with a stop on every ticket the reviewer can see.
