The $8,000 target is shared, and the float is not
FundingPips Standard and the Lark 2-step can both be bought as a 5% day and a 10% maximum. Confirm Lark's contract, because the firm also lists static maximums from 8% to 10%. An 8% Lark book dies at $92,000. A 10% book dies at $90,000. FundingPips Standard dies at $90,000 and does not trail. Pro at FundingPips is a 6% maximum. Flex is 12%. The headline comparison is Standard against the 10% Lark path.
Hold $2,750 of open gold profit into 00:00 UTC+3 on FundingPips and the next day can start $2,750 richer. The same hold at Lark does not raise the floor, because the daily score uses closed balance at 00:00, UTC+2 or UTC+3. If that open loss touches the Lark floor intraday, the account still ends, even if you close back above it a minute later. Balance-based is not a license to knife through $5,000.
Three minimum days in Dubai, zero at Lark
FundingPips wants three minimum trading days. Lark wants zero. Both then ask for $8,000 and $5,000. Lark pays 80% to 90%, with a first payout after 14 days or after 7 with the add-on. FundingPips pays Tuesday at 60%, bi-weekly at 80%, on-demand at 90% with the consistency score, or monthly at 100%. Neither 2-step evaluation uses a best-day cap. FundingPips adds a 45% score only on Zero and on-demand rewards.
The $101 fee gap favors Dubai if the rules fit your clock. It favors Lark if you hold winners through midnight and you do not want that float to become tomorrow's floor. Sign up on Venasri and label the anchor in words, higher-of or closed-balance, so a copied swing does not inherit the wrong midnight.
Lark leaves the news print alone
Lark permits news on standard evaluations and funded accounts without a two-minute confiscation. FundingPips restricts five minutes around high-impact news on the funded stage. If the edge is the release itself, Lark is the readable book and a funded FundingPips login is the one that will argue. Weekend holding is allowed at Lark. FundingPips allows it on the evaluation and on selected funded models.
Both allow EAs inside a roughly 2,000-request day. Lark bans HFT, latency arbitrage, and grid martingale. FundingPips wants source ownership for a full entry bot. Bot controls can run the same slow logic on both MT5 logins and should block new funded FundingPips risk inside the five-minute window even when the Lark ticket is allowed to stay.
Same $4,250 flatten, two different reasons
Equity Guard at $4,250 protects the shared $5,000 day. On FundingPips it also needs a pre-midnight partial, because the higher equity mark is the hidden loss. On Lark it needs to fire on a touch, because a dip through the floor is final even when the closed balance would have looked fine. One dollar level, two jobs.
Lark's 1-step is a 4% day and a 6% trail, $4,000 and $6,000. FundingPips 1-step is a 4% day and a 6% maximum as well. Those 1-step books finally rhyme. The 2-step books rhyme on the target and disagree on the clock. Trade the clock you actually sit through. The $101 is not worth a midnight you misunderstand.
