1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step, all balance-based at the reset
Lark Funding (Toronto / Saint Lucia, founded 2022) sells 1-Step, 2-Step, and 3-Step on MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, and DXtrade. Flagship 2-Step: 8% Phase 1 ($8,000 on $100K), 5% Phase 2, 5% daily, static 8% to 10% max, zero minimum days, no best-day consistency rule, $500 on $100K, 80% to 90% split, first payout after 14 days or 7 with add-on. 1-Step: 4% daily, trailing 6% max. 3-Step: static 5% max. News trading is permitted on standard evaluations and funded books without a 2-minute profit confiscation. Weekend holding is allowed.
EAs and automated risk guards are permitted; HFT, latency arb, and grid martingale are not. Server cap is the usual 2,000 requests. You can start a free Venasri account and turn off any "higher-of equity at midnight" preset you used for FundingPips or DNA Funded. Lark is not those firms at 00:00. It is those firms at 11:00.
Balance at midnight, equity every other second
Daily reset uses end-of-day closed balance at 00:00 server time (UTC+2/UTC+3). Floating gains do not raise tomorrow's 5% floor. Floating losses that are still open at 00:00 also do not rewrite the closed-balance stamp, but they can already have killed you before midnight if equity tagged the floor. Static 10% on a 2-Step $100K is $90,000. 1-Step trail 6% is a different animal and should not share a 2-Step lot size.
Set Venasri Equity Guard to 4.25% on 2-Step and 3.25% on 1-Step. The balance-based marketing is why people skip Guard. Skip Guard and a 6-second NAS100 spike will educate you on "intraday equity still counts."
News allowed, no 2-minute confiscation, still 5% live
Lark permitting news without profit confiscation is a real differentiator versus Blueberry's two-minute strip. It is also how traders sit NFP with 1.8 lots US30 and print $5,200 floating in 40 seconds. Legal news is not extra daily budget. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control should still flatten at 4.25% during NFP, even though Lark will not confiscate a legal hold. The 5% line confiscates the account instead.
Zero minimum days plus no consistency rule means a two-session pass is possible and a two-session fail is common. If you want Lark's 14-day payout, you still have to live 14 days inside 5% / 10% after you pass. Passing is the short part.
Lark on four platforms, one Guard
MT5 users should use the ZeroMQ MT5 Bridge. cTrader, Match-Trader, and DXtrade users still need the same 4.25% equity poll, even if the bridge path differs. Do not run an MT5 Guard against a Match-Trader login and assume the numbers match. Pick one platform and finish the 2-Step on it.
1-Step trailing 6% needs a peak log. 3-Step static 5% ($95,000 on $100K) is the tightest max in the Lark family: 0.35% risk or go back to 2-Step. Balance-based daily does not widen a 5% total max. It only stops midnight from moving the daily floor against a green float.
