Free desktop scripts still teach a generation
FX Blue’s mini-terminal, statement publisher, and web stats taught a lot of people to care about history. Free is a fair price. If you still sit at the same PC 14 hours a day, some of those scripts still work.
They do not work on iOS MT5, they do not push Telegram /close, and they do not run a 3-second cloud flatten if the terminal wedges. Legacy is a category, not an insult.
2010s utilities versus a 24/7 socket
No behavioral monitor, no ensemble, no Live Activities. Keeping Windows MT5 open 24/7 to host scripts is how people discover sleep, updates, and DHCP. A VPS helps, and you still lack a modern cockpit.
Venasri puts the utility drawer in a web app plus iOS, with Manual Trade Guard for phone fills the old scripts never saw.
Modernize without losing the free habit
create a free Venasri account and keep FX Blue stats if you like them. Add floors in Venasri Risk Management. Paid SKUs: Venasri Pricing ($0 Free, $9.99 Starter, $29.99 Pro).
Telegram /status, /positions, and /close replace a lot of “I need to remote desktop home” moments that FX Blue never solved.
When to leave the script pack installed
If a specific FX Blue tool still saves seconds on the chart, leave it. Do not ask it to be a prop fuse or an ML brain. Those jobs moved to the cloud.
Uninstalling everything because it is old is also silly. Uninstalling the idea that free desktop equals protection is the point.
