Annual journal versus a 3-second equity loop
Edgewonk bills once a year and stays in the browser. Venasri bills monthly (or $0) and stays on ZeroMQ or MetaAPI whether you are at the desk. That hosting difference is the whole product: local honesty work versus cloud authority over orders.
Edge Finder on tags can show you that Mondays are expensive. It cannot block Monday’s third click. Equity Guard can, if you set the floor before the session in Venasri Risk Management.
What each tool counts as evidence of tilt
Edgewonk counts what you type. Venasri counts what MT5 reports: deal events, modified stops, lot sizes, and timestamps. The 5-pattern set is mechanical on purpose, because a tilted trader will not grade themselves in the moment.
Neither tool is a therapist. Edgewonk is closer to a coach’s worksheet. Venasri is closer to a risk desk’s kill switch. If you want the worksheet and the switch, pay for both rather than stretching one into the other.
Money math: $169 a year versus a challenge fee
Edgewonk at $169/year is often cheaper than Venasri Pro at $29.99/month if you only compare subscriptions. Add one failed FTMO $100K fee and the live guard is cheaper. Venasri Free still lets you stream the account and see news blackouts before you upgrade.
A two-week test that is fair to both
Keep Edgewonk as you already use it. create a free Venasri account, connect MT5, and enable the behavioral monitor. For two weeks, write the same notes in Edgewonk and watch which Venasri alerts you would have missed between tags.
If the alert log is empty, you may only need the journal. If the log fills on stop drags and revenge clusters, you just measured why the vs page exists.
