A 120-pip European trend is a 5% object at 1%
2.14 lots lose about $14.20 per pip. A 70-pip RBA-plus-Frankfurt run is $1,000. 4.29 lots would be $2,000 before lunch. Default 2.14 lots and treat 4.29 as a ceiling for a clean, calendar-empty Frankfurt trend.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and flatten EURAUD before 03:15 UTC on RBA days. Equity Guard at 3.5% covers the PMI spike that is not on your home-timezone radar.
Risk-off euro versus commodity Aussie
When equities and copper dump, EURAUD often rips as money leaves AUD. That is a valid funded trend. It is also correlated with short AUDUSD and long EURUSD. Three tickets on that story will share one daily limit.
Use European hours. NY CPI will move it as a residual. If your thesis is US yields, you are on the wrong cross.
Do not assemble the cross from two majors at full size
Long EURUSD 2.50 lots plus short AUDUSD 2.50 lots plus long EURAUD 2.14 lots is Europe-versus-Aussie three times. Correlation Guard should allow one 0.50% expression. 6.65 pip lives in the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard.
Swing 75 to 120 pips at ~1.20 lots. Intraday 30 to 48 at 2.14. Scalp 15 to 24 only when spread is under 1.0 in Frankfurt, not at 1.6 pips in late NY.
EURAUD checklist: Europe clock, RBA clear, single cross, 35-pip stop
Require 06:00 to 11:30 UTC (or a deliberate Sydney trend), RBA/EU calendar clear, unused EURUSD+AUDUSD budget, spread under 1.6, 35-pip-class stop, 1.63-area handles mapped.
Store it on the Pre-Trade AI Confluence Checklist. Manual Trade Guard attaches 35 pips on fill so a 100-pip "good trend" that reverses at EU CPI cannot donate 90 pips of naked 4.29 lots.
