Range dollars still crowd the 5% box
2.12 lots lose about $14.20 per pip. A 70-pip BoJ spike is $1,000. 4.25 lots would be $2,000. That is survivable only if you were not also in USDJPY. Stacked yen is the breach pattern.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and default 2.12 lots with Equity Guard at 3.5%. Ban 4.25 lots on dual central-bank weeks.
Frankfurt is the edge, Tokyo is the yen
07:00 to 11:00 UTC EMA50 pullbacks are why this cross is cleaner than GBPJPY. Tokyo 00:00 to 03:30 UTC is for yen-driven trend, not for euro-pattern scalps. Mixing a Frankfurt 15-pip stop with Tokyo intervention risk is how "clean" becomes a fill at minus 50 pips.
European PMI is a valid EURJPY event. US NFP is a dollar event; this cross will move, but it is a worse NFP vehicle than EURUSD because you also eat yen noise.
One yen budget, one Europe budget
If USDJPY or GBPJPY is open, EURJPY does not get 2.12 lots. If EURUSD is open, haircut. The Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard needs pip 6.70 and a 35-pip default for this symbol, stored separately from the euro $10 template.
Swing 75 to 130 pips at ~1.15 lots. Intraday 30 to 50 at 2.12. Scalp 15 to 24 only in Frankfurt depth.
EURJPY checklist: single yen ticket, 35-pip stop, Frankfurt or Tokyo
Require no duplicate yen cross, ECB/BoJ clear, session match, spread under 1.3, H4 plus EMA50 logic. Reject NFP lottery entries.
Keep it on the Pre-Trade AI Confluence Checklist. Manual Trade Guard attaches 35 pips on click so a "clean" pullback that fails cannot become a 90-pip stubborn hold.
