Pound notional, Aussie quote, $6.65, huge ATR
1.00 lot is 100,000 GBP. AUD conversion ~$6.65 per 0.0001, same family as EURAUD and GBPAUD's sister math. Spread 0.9 to 2.0 pips. ATR 125 to 195 pips sits with GBPJPY in the "wide body" bucket, which is why the stop is 45 pips and lots are 3.34, not EURAUD's 4.29 at 35 pips.
Handles 1.9400, 1.9500, 1.9600 are where H4 order blocks actually live. London 06:30 to 11:00 UTC and Asia 00:30 to 04:00 UTC are both real because both currencies have home hours.
Two overnight bombs: RBA and UK 06:00
RBA 03:30 UTC gaps the Aussie leg. UK CPI/GDP at 06:00 UTC gaps the pound leg. A trader in New York can wake up to both already in the daily loss. Rate-path divergence between BoE and RBA is the swing thesis that prints 3R from 0.618 retraces; it is also the news thesis that prints 80-pip candles.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and treat this cross as a dual-calendar instrument, not as "Cable with extra pips."
3.34 lots at 45 pips
lots = 1000 / (45 × 6.65) = 3.34 at 1%, 1.67 at 0.50%. Scalp 18 to 30 only if spread is under 1.2, which is not always true. Intraday 38 to 60, swing 90 to 150. Put 6.65 in the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard.
GBPUSD plus AUDUSD already is this cross. Adding 3.34 lots is a third sterling-versus-Aussie bet. Haircut to one chart.
Trade H4 divergence, not 15-pip boredom
Best: H4 order block or 0.618 into London after UK data is out, or Asia continuation after RBA is out. Spread filter under 2.0 (prefer under 1.2). 45-pip-class stop. Skip dual-event nights at full size.
Confirm BoE/RBA path split and unused major legs on the Pre-Trade AI Confluence Checklist. GBPAUD is a multi-R swing cross. It is a terrible 10-pip prop habit.
