Widowmaker math: wide stop, yen pip, fewer lots
Pip value ≈ $6.70. A 45-pip stop is $301.50 per lot. $1,000 / $301.50 ≈ 3.32, rounded to 3.31. A 65-pip stop is 2.29 lots at 1%. A 10-pip stop would allow 14.9 lots, which is a joke against a 130 to 220 pip ATR and 0.8 to 1.8 pip spreads.
Intraday belongs at 38 to 65 pips. Swing belongs at 95 to 160 pips. If your honest stop is 60 pips, 0.50% is 1.24 lots. That number will feel too small. It is correctly small.
One Dragon candle versus a 5% floor
A 5% floor is $5,000. At $6.70 per pip, 3.31 lots need 226 pips to end the day, which is one large Dragon session plus slip. 1.65 lots at 45 pips is $500 clean, about $1,000 if the fill is 90 pips away, which a BoJ or UK CPI candle can do.
If you start free on Venasri, cap the Dragon at 0.50% until you have 20 sessions without a 10-pip habit. Set Venasri Equity Guard to flatten near 3.0%, because the second 40-pip bar does not ask permission.
GBPUSD plus USDJPY is already GBPJPY
A long Cable ticket plus a long USDJPY ticket is a synthetic Dragon. If those two are open, you do not get a third 1.65 lots of GBPJPY. EURJPY is the calmer yen-cross sibling; stacking both at full size is one yen-and-risk book.
NAS100 dumps hitch a ride because GBPJPY is risk-on beta. Correlation Guard should cap the equity-plus-Dragon stack. 194.00, 195.00, and 196.00 are where those stacks find the same stop.
Size from the yen handle after the 06:00 UTC handoff
Measure the stop beyond 194.00, 195.00, or 196.00 plus 1.5× M15 ATR. If that is 52 pips, 0.50% is 500 / (52 × 6.70) ≈ 1.44 lots. Do not cut to 20 pips to keep 3.31 lots. The Dragon will take 20 inside one candle.
Confirm 06:00 to 09:30 or 12:00 to 15:30 UTC, spread under 1.8 pips, and no BoJ, UK CPI, or NFP on the AI Pre-Trade Checklist. Dragon lots look timid next to EURUSD. Timid is how this pair is traded on a daily limit.
