Tiny ATR is why the lot number looks insane
CFD at $1 per point: 18-point stop is $18 per lot, 1000 / 18 = 55.55 lots. MES at $5: $1,000 is 11.11 micros. ES at $50: $1,000 is 1.11 contracts, so 1 ES is already about 0.90% at 18 points and 1.80% at 36 points of slip. Write the spec on the ticket before the cash open.
Typical spreads are 0.3 to 0.6 points. Daily ATR is 45 to 85 points. Intraday stops belong at 14 to 24 points. A 6-point scalp on 160 CFD lots is inside a 25-point gamma wall and inside the 15:50 ET MOC shove.
0DTE pins and FOMC are why 27 lots is the adult default
A 5% floor is $5,000. At $1 per point, 55.55 lots need only 90 points to end the day, which is one large S&P day plus slip. FOMC at 18:00 UTC can travel 40 points in a minute. 55.55 × 40 = $2,222 if the spec is $1, and $111,100 if you accidentally used ES dollars on a CFD lot count.
If you start free on Venasri, default to 27 CFD lots or 5 to 6 MES at 18 points. Set Venasri Equity Guard to flatten near 3.5% and stay flat into 18:00 UTC FOMC and 19:50 UTC MOC.
NAS100 and US30 do not get a second 0.50% if ES is open
US500 is the benchmark the other two indices follow. A full S&P ticket plus a full Nasdaq ticket is one US equity view. If US500 already uses 27 CFD lots, NAS100 does not get 7 lots on the same thesis.
Correlation Guard should cap the stack. 0DTE walls at 5800, 5850, and 5900 are where those stacked tickets die together when the pin breaks.
Size from the dealer wall, not from a 55-lot habit
Measure the stop beyond the nearest 25-point or 50-point strike plus 1.5× ATR. If that is 22 points on a $1 CFD, 0.50% is 22.7 lots. Do not cut to 9 points to keep 55 lots. The wall will take 9, then travel 20.
Confirm 13:30 to 19:30 UTC, spread under 0.6 points, and no FOMC or MOC window on the AI Pre-Trade Checklist. S&P lots look like a video-game number. They are only legal after the point value is $1 and the stop is outside the pin.
