$100K Apex card versus Topstep $100K
Apex: target $6,000, intraday trail $3,000 until PA lock near initial + $100, 7 days, $137, flatten 4:59 PM ET, 30 percent payout consistency, 5:1 ratio, 30 percent negative PnL per trade on PA, up to 20 PAs, 100 percent of first $25,000. Topstep: EOD trail $3,000, 50 percent of target, 3:10 PM CT, $99/month, 100 percent of first $10,000. Do not mix flatten times or trail types.
Per idea $250-$400. Personal trail buffer: flatten open loss before $2,000. Bank or stop a winner that printed +$1,500 open if you cannot trail tight. 7 days: no Monday lottery.
Worked +$2,200 fade to +$100
Peak float +$2,200. Threshold moves up $2,200. Remaining of $3,000 is $800. Fade to +$100 closed. Next -1R of $400 is fine. Next -1R of $900 is not. The fix is to bank $1,000 at the spike or trail a few ticks under the high so the threshold cannot run away without you. Unattended bots are banned on PA for this reason among others.
News geometry, no weekend, no 5:1 lottery
