Higher of balance or equity, then 5%
Write the Standard day as 0.05 times max(day-start balance, equity at 00:00 server time). On $100K with a flat closed balance and no float, that is $5,000. On $100K with $102,400 equity at the snapshot, the new daily hole is 5% of $102,400, which is $5,120 of room below $102,400, not $5,000 below $100,000. If equity then falls to $97,100, you have spent $5,300 from the snapshot and Standard is done, even if you are still above the static 10% lifetime floor at $90,000.
Pro's static max is 8% ($8,000). 1-Step daily is 4% ($4,000) with a trailing 6% max. Instant adds the 40% best-day score. The calculator has to branch on mode before it prints a dollar number. You can start a free Venasri account and type the mode first, then the percents, so a Standard $5,000 / $10,000 card never lands on a Pro login that only has 8% of air.
The +$2,400 gold float, in cash
You buy gold on a $100K Standard account. At 23:50 server time the position is +$2,400, closed balance still $100,000. Midnight picks $102,400. The new daily floor sits $5,120 under that equity, near $97,280. Gold mean-reverts $4,100. Equity is $98,300. You still look fine versus $90,000 static max. You are not fine versus the daily rule: you burned $4,100 of a $5,120 daily hole in the first hours of the new day. One more ugly London hour ends the evaluation.
Closing $2,000 of that runner before midnight would have booked it to balance and left a cleaner $5,000 hole under $102,000 closed. That is the AquaFunded-specific reason to partial before 00:00 when float is large relative to 5%. Point Venasri Equity Guard at $4,250 of daily loss when the snapshot was near $100,000, and move the guard with H after a profitable roll so you do not flatten too early on a day that legally had more room, or too late on a day that did not.
Instant 40% is a second calculator the chart does not show
Instant Funding and selected rapid payout tiers require a 40% best-day consistency score. A $3,400 day on a cycle that has only $8,000 of total profit is already 42.5% and can stall the 24-hour guarantee even when 5% daily never printed. The daily calculator can say pass while the payout calculator says wait. Standard evaluation has no that score, which is why traders with lumpy gold days should not migrate to Instant just to skip Phase 2.
Funded 5-minute news windows still debit daily loss if a stop runs during the print. Weekend holds are allowed, but Sunday open prints against the current day's floor after the Friday snapshot. Count those events as extra volatility against the 5% line. Keep server requests under 2,000 so the dollar formula remains the only formula that can fail you.
Guard the cash line, then guard GMT+2
Set Venasri's daily reset clock to AquaFunded 00:00 (GMT+2 or GMT+3), not 00:00 UTC and not 17:00 New York. Hook 24/7 MT5 Bot Control to pause funded entries inside the 5-minute news window and to partial large winners 20 to 40 minutes before the snapshot. That partial is the calculator control: you choose which day's 5% budget owns the pullback.
On 1-Step, the official daily line is $4,000, so the guard belongs near $3,250, not at the Standard number. On Pro, respect the $8,000 lifetime line, which can bind before daily does after a slow bleed. Rehearse one overnight gold hold in sim with H visible. If H jumped and you still want the swing, cut size in half after midnight so a mean-reversion wick cannot spend the newly raised floor.
