Profit at 23:50 is not a cushion at 00:01
The daily loss line uses the higher of day-start balance or equity. A runner that is $3,400 ahead just before midnight can become the base. When price gives that $3,400 back after the snapshot, the new day is already short by $3,400 of its $5,000 allowance on a $100,000 2-step. You may not have clicked anything. The position you were proud of did the clicking.
Closed profit you actually banked does not do this. The trap is the open piece. Partial down to a runner whose cash is small next to $5,000. A few hundred dollars can gap. Several thousand will rewrite the day. Bot controls can take the partials on schedule so the laptop does not have to be open at the AquaFunded clock.
GMT+2 or GMT+3 is the firm clock, not your phone
The reset is 00:00 server time, and that server sits on GMT+2 or GMT+3 depending on the season. A flatten you set for midnight on a US clock is hours away from the snapshot. Gold can travel a long way in those hours. If you trade from Dubai, London, or New York, convert the clock once and write it on the card. Guessing from the candle timestamp is how the float survives the minute you thought was the close.
Create a Venasri login and arm the session against that server clock. A tool aimed at 00:00 UTC will be early or late by two or three hours, which is an entire gold swing.
The best-day cap and the trail fail green accounts too
Instant and selected rapid tiers can reject a day that owns more than 40% of cycle profit. A $3,400 winner is already above 40% of an $8,000 Phase 1 target. You can breach the shape of the profit without ever going red, and you can also reprice the next day from the same winner if it was still open at the snapshot. Those are two different emails from one hold.
The 1-step maximum trails at 6%. A weekend hold that extends the high can lift the floor you have to respect on Monday. Standard static 10% does not do that. Pro static 8% does not do that. Know which floor you have before you decide the float is harmless because the firm allows overnight positions.
Flatten losses at $4,250 and harvest winners before the bell
Equity Guard answers the red side: about $4,250 on a $100,000 2-step and about $3,250 on the 1-step. It will not decide that your $3,400 winner should be partialled. That decision is a clock decision. Put both on the same session plan. The stop on the ticket still has to exist, because a gap through a missing stop is a larger version of the same giveback.
Funded news adds a 5-minute block around red-folder prints. A swing that was legal at midnight can be sitting in CPI at the London morning. If the position will be inside that window, it needs to be gone or it needs a stop you can survive. The hidden breach is usually a position you forgot was still working.
