0.62 lots is the unit and 0.70 lots is a different plan
Option 2 daily loss is $550, 2.2 percent of $25,000. The trailing maximum is $750, so equity at $24,250 ends the evaluation. Half a percent is $125. Majors pay $10 a pip at 1.00 lot, so a 20-pip stop wants 0.625 lots. Use 0.62 lots and the cash risk is $124. Use 0.70 lots because the ladder looks nicer and the cash risk is $140.
Gold is the clean instrument. A 50-pip stop at 0.25 lots is $125 exactly. The mistake is keeping 0.25 lots and stretching the stop to 80 pips, which is $200, or adding a second 0.25 lot because the first one looks small on a $25,000 screen. Two gold ideas at $125 are $250, almost half of the day, and they are often the same US dollar bet. Bot controls should count those two tickets as one risk.
One micro Nasdaq fits, and one E-mini does not
A micro Nasdaq is $2 a point. A 60-point stop is $120, just under the $125 unit, so one micro is the futures expression of this plan. A 100-point stop on the same micro is $200, which is no longer half a percent. One E-mini is $20 a point. A 60-point stop is $1,200, more than the $550 day and more than the $750 floor. There is no partial E-mini that rescues that click.
Option 1 trails the $750 on live equity and drops the separate $550 day. Two micros with 60-point stops are $240 of planned risk and still inside the trail, until a pullback from the high runs further than the planned stop. The higher contract allowance on Option 1 is not an invitation to hold an E-mini on this balance.
Phase 1 is two full maximum losses
The Phase 1 target is $1,500. The maximum loss is $750. You are being asked to make twice what you are allowed to lose, with no second phase after that. At 2R, the $125 unit pays about $250, so six clean winners cover the target. Four full losses are $500, inside the $550 day, with $50 left. A fifth loss at $125 is the day, plus any extra slip.
The one-day minimum makes a hero session look legal. A hero loss is not survivable. The later 40 percent Master payout test is a different product stage. On this evaluation the binding numbers are $550, $750, and $1,500. Create a Venasri login and keep the hero ticket out of the order ticket.
Flatten near $362 and ignore the round $500
Equity Guard on Option 2 belongs near $362 of daily loss, 1.45 percent of $25,000. A tidy $500 flatten gives away more of the day than this account can spare if gold slips. The official $550 is the firm print, which is late. On Option 1, flatten around a $375 giveback from the equity high so half of the $750 trail remains unused.
Be flat by 3:59 PM CT. A $400 open winner is 1.6 percent of the account. On Option 1 that open high lifts the trail. A full giveback toward the entry can then breach while yesterday's idea still feels clever. Book it before the Central Time deadline, then start the next session from closed cash.
