Five FX lots and two gold lots are the same $1,000
Double Helix daily loss is $10,000. The static 10% maximum is $20,000, so $180,000 equity ends it. Phase 1 is $20,000 and Phase 2 is $10,000, with three minimum trading days. The 0.50% unit is $1,000. On FX that is 5.00 lots with a 20-pip stop. On gold that is 2.00 lots with a 50-pip stop. Both look ordinary to anyone who has traded a $50,000 personal book at 1.00 lot. Ordinary is not the test. Cash versus the $10,000 day is the test.
A 2.00 lot gold position that slips from 50 pips to 100 pips costs $2,000, not $1,000. You do not get a warning label when DNA Markets fills the extra distance during a data print. Bot controls should cap the ticket off the stop distance currently on the order, and should block a second metals ticket while the first is open.
This is one account, not two $100K accounts taped together
Splitting attention as if you held two $100,000 challenges is the structural error. You have one daily line. Two $500 plans running side by side would be correct only if they were one $1,000 plan. Two full $1,000 plans are a $2,000 hit when the dollar moves. Five losing pairs are $10,000, which is the day, reached without a single dramatic oversized click. Correlation is the hidden lot size.
Single Helix on $200,000 is a $8,000 day at 4% and a $12,000 maximum at 6%. The $1,000 unit gives you fewer repeats there than on Double Helix. Eight losses are the entire 1-step day. If the 6% term trails, a large unrealized high can also lift the lifetime floor while you are still celebrating the open profit. Double Helix keeps the $20,000 static hole tied to the start balance.
A $6,000 float is 3% and it will own the next morning
The higher of balance or equity at 00:00 is a large dollar event on this book. A $6,000 open winner is only 3%, which sounds modest, and it is bigger than half of many traders Phase 2 targets on smaller challenges. Held into the snapshot, a giveback spends $6,000 of the next $10,000 hole. You can be far above $180,000 and still be done for the day. Partial before the DNA Markets clock.
Weekend holding is allowed, so that partial decision repeats on Friday. The funded five-minute news window applies after you pass. The evaluation will let you hold the print, and the slip still reduces the $10,000. Personal risk EAs are permitted on MT5. A copied pass bot is not. Two thousand server requests a day is unchanged by the fact that the balance has a 2 in front of it.
Flatten near $8,500 and keep the unit boring
Equity Guard should flatten Double Helix near $8,500 of daily loss, 4.25% of $200,000, leaving $1,500 before the official $10,000. That pocket is one slipped gold ticket, not a fresh idea. Single Helix should flatten near $6,500 against the $8,000 day. If you scale further, rebuild both numbers from the new balance before the next session, not on the weekend you remember.
Rapid 40% of a $20,000 Phase 1 target is $8,000. A single $8,500 session fails the cap and would have been almost the entire daily loss line if the trades had lost. Create a Venasri login with a session-profit stop on Rapid and a session-loss stop on every product. The $1,000 unit is allowed to be boring. Boring is how a $20,000 target gets booked without donating a $10,000 day.
