0.62 lots is correct and 0.70 lots is a raise
Double Helix daily loss is $1,250, 5% of $25,000. The static maximum is $2,500, so $22,500 equity is the end of the account. Half a percent is $125. Majors pay $10 per pip at 1.00 lot, so a 20-pip stop wants 0.625 lots, which you will not be offered. Use 0.62 lots and the cash risk is $124. Use 0.70 lots because the platform ladder looks nicer and the cash risk is $140, a 12% raise you did not vote on.
Gold is the clean instrument here. A 50-pip stop at 0.25 lots is $125 exactly, because 0.25 times 50 times $10 is $125. The mistake is borrowing the 0.25 lot and putting it on a 80-pip stop, which is $200, or adding a second 0.25 lot because the first one looks small. Two gold ideas are $250, a fifth of the day, and they are often the same US dollar trade. Bot controls should count correlated metals as one risk, not as two small ones.
Phase 1 equals the entire maximum drawdown
The Phase 1 target is $2,500, the same cash figure as the maximum loss. Phase 2 is $1,250, the same figure as one full day. Three minimum days still apply. That symmetry tempts people to risk $250 so the target feels close. Two losses at $250 are $500. Five of them are the whole day. The 0.50% unit needs more winners, and it also survives a morning that goes wrong.
Single Helix on $25,000 is a $1,000 day (4%) and a $1,500 maximum (6%). If you are in that product, the $1,250 Double Helix note is already $250 too loose. The firm lists the 6% maximum as static or trailing. If your contract trails, a winning week reduces leftover room even though the starting $25,000 has not changed. Read the contract line before you scale the lot up to celebrate the week.
A $1,000 open gain is not spare cash at midnight
The daily anchor is the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 DNA Markets time. A $1,000 floating gold gain is 4% of this account. Held through the snapshot, it can become the base the next 5% is hung from. A full reversion then spends $1,000 of a $1,250 day while yesterday closed-trade profit still looks excellent. Book part of it. Leave a runner only if the runner cash is small next to $1,250.
Weekend holds are allowed on Single Helix and Double Helix. Sunday open gaps count in the new day, and a funded account later lives with a five-minute news window. Evaluation news is permitted, but a slipped stop still costs dollars against $1,250. Tight spreads from the DNA Markets book are a cost advantage, not a gap guarantee.
Flatten near $1,062 and ignore round-number comfort
Equity Guard on Double Helix belongs near $1,062 of daily loss, 4.25% of $25,000, not at a tidy $1,000 and not at the official $1,250. The $1,000 level gives away more buffer than this account can spare if gold slips. The $1,250 level is the firm print, which is too late. Single Helix should sit near $812 against the $1,000 day.
Rapid 40% math on a $2,500 Phase 1 target is a $1,000 day. That is less than the $1,250 loss line, so a brilliant session can fail the cap without ever looking dangerous on the drawdown meter. Create a Venasri login and keep a session-profit ceiling next to the loss ceiling if the product you bought is Rapid rather than Double Helix.
