Divide the $100K lot card before you click
Correct 0.50% size is 1.25 lots on a major for a 20-pip stop: 1.25 times 20 times $10 is $250. Gold at 0.50 lots for a 50-pip stop is also $250. The viral $100,000 card says 2.50 and 1.00. Paste those here and every idea is $500. Five of them, if they lose, are the entire $2,500 day. The static maximum of $5,000 would then be two ruined days, which is the whole life of the evaluation.
Phase 1 is $5,000 and Phase 2 is $2,500, with three minimum trading days. At $250 risk, a 2R winner is about $500, so Phase 1 is a sequence, not a Tuesday. The bot desk should store the balance as $50,000 even if your notes still say the challenge you meant to buy was $100,000. The fee you did not pay is irrelevant. The lot is not.
Single Helix on $50K is a $2,000 day
If the purchase was Single Helix, daily loss is 4%, or $2,000, and the maximum is 6%, or $3,000. The firm describes that 6% as static or trailing. A trailing reading means a strong open week can lift the floor and leave you less than $3,000 of lifetime room even though you started at $50,000. Double Helix does not do that. Its 10% floor stays $5,000 under the initial balance.
Traders switch products to save a fee and keep the Double Helix lot. That is how a 1.25 lot plan, which was fine against $2,500, becomes a large bite of a $2,000 day. Three losses at $250 are $750. Add a gold slip and a second correlated metal and you can see $2,000 without a dramatic story. The story is the product name on the invoice.
A $2,000 runner is 4% and it reprices midnight
At 00:00 DNA Markets time the day anchors to the higher of balance or equity. A $2,000 open gain is 4% of $50,000. It feels like the Phase 2 target already in hand. If you do not book it, the next session can be asked to defend a higher snapshot, and a giveback of that $2,000 spends most of a fresh $2,500 hole. Yesterday still looks profitable in the closed column only if you closed something.
Weekend holding is allowed, so the Friday runner is a Sunday risk as well as a midnight risk. Funded accounts add a five-minute window around high-impact news. Evaluation accounts may trade the print, and the slip still counts. A 0.50 lot gold position that slips an extra $10 in price, which is 100 pips, costs an extra $500. That is two planned losses arriving as one candle.
Guard at $2,125 and delete the other screenshot
Equity Guard should flatten Double Helix near $2,125, which is 4.25% and $375 inside the $2,500 official day. Single Helix should flatten near $1,625 against its $2,000 day. If the guard is still loaded with a $4,250 threshold from a $100,000 guide, it will not save this account. Thresholds are dollars, and dollars follow the balance you actually hold.
Rapid best-day math: 40% of the $5,000 Phase 1 target is $2,000. A $2,200 gold day fails Rapid and would have been inside the daily loss line if it had been a loss. Sign up on Venasri and write the cap next to the lot if Rapid is the product. Double Helix can have the $2,200 day. Rapid cannot pretend it was just a good session.
