The lifetime floor is two daily lines
Double Helix on $5,000 is a 5% day and a static 10% maximum from the initial balance. In cash that is $250 today and $500 for the account, so equity at $4,500 is the end. Phase 1 needs $500, which is 10%. Phase 2 needs $250, which is 5%. Three minimum trading days still apply, so you cannot print the $500 target as a single ticket and call the phase done. The firm also resets the day at 00:00 DNA Markets time off the higher of balance or equity.
Single Helix on the same $5,000 is tighter: 4% daily is $200, and the 6% maximum is $300. Traders who memorize the $250 figure and then sit a 1-step exam will breach $50 before their notes say they should. Pick the product before you pick the lot. Sign up on Venasri with the product name in the profile so the $200 book and the $250 book are not stored as one rule.
A $25 stop is 0.12 lots of FX or 0.05 lots of gold
The working risk unit is $25, half a percent. On a major with a $10 pip value at 1.00 lot, a 20-pip stop at 0.12 lots costs $24, just under the unit. At 0.13 lots the same stop is $26 and you have already cheated. Gold is $10 per 0.10 move per 1.00 lot. A 50-pip stop at 0.05 lots is exactly $25. A 0.10 lot gold idea, which looks tiny on a $100,000 screenshot, is $50 here and is already 1%.
One gold slip matters more than the lot label. If the 50-pip stop becomes a 100-pip fill because the spread widened, 0.05 lots costs $50, a fifth of the entire day. There is no second idea after that if you also had a loser in the morning. The bot desk should hard-cap gold at 0.05 lots on this balance unless the stop is shorter than 50 pips and the cash risk still prints $25 or less.
Ten quiet winners, not one $250 afternoon
At $25 risk, a 2R winner pays about $50. Ten of those, with no losers, are the $500 Phase 1 target. You will have losers, so the real path is longer, and that is acceptable because the minimum is three days rather than a speed prize. What is not acceptable is risking $75 to finish faster. Three such losses are $225, which is the whole day with $25 of spread still unused.
Rapid Challenge on a book this small makes the 40% cap a very small dollar number. Forty percent of a $500 target is $200. A single $210 day fails the cap while still sitting inside the $250 daily loss line if it had been a loss of the same size. If you bought Rapid for the faster payout story, the hero day you wanted is the day the firm rejects.
Flatten near $212, not at $250
Official Double Helix death on the day is $250. Equity Guard should flatten near $212, which is 4.25% of $5,000 and leaves a small pocket for a gold spread. Single Helix should flatten closer to $162 because the official day is $200, not $250. A guard copied from a YouTube $100,000 example will never fire in time, or it will fire at a dollar level this account does not have.
Because the reset uses the higher of balance and equity, do not carry a $150 open winner through 00:00 on a $5,000 book. That float is 3% of the account. If it gives back after the snapshot, the new day spends it against a $250 hole that was supposed to be fresh. Close or partial it, then let the next session start from cash you have actually booked.
