The request ceiling is the scalper's real cap
Every entry, stop change, and partial close draws from 2,000 requests. A NAS100 or US30 scalp that updates the stop on every push will hit that number before the 5% day does. If you start a free Venasri account, budget the edits per trade before the cash open, not after you are in the habit of clicking.
Platforms are MT5, MT4, cTrader, and DXtrade. Expert Advisors are allowed. An EA that is legal on paper and hyperactive in practice is still a breach of the request rule. The $100,000 fee of $540 does not buy a higher ceiling.
Wait until 13:30 UTC has actually settled
The rule is to let the 13:30 UTC whip candle finish, not to trade the first print at 9:30 AM ET. That candle is where both sides of NAS100 and US30 get run. A fill during the whip is a fill without the structure the 60 to 100 point stop is supposed to sit behind.
After the candle closes, the stop belongs beyond the structure that just printed, inside that 60 to 100 point band. MT5 bot control should not be armed to enter on the first tick of the hour. Arm it for the candle that remains.
60 to 100 points against a 5% day
The plan does not publish a dollar value per index point, so convert the distance on your own platform rather than borrowing a forex pip value. Convert the 60 to 100 point stop into cash on your platform, then compare it with the $5,000 daily line on a $100,000 2-Step account. If the cash risk is a large slice of $5,000, the point stop is too wide for the lot.
The 1-Step daily line is 3%, or $3,000 on $100,000. The same point stop costs a bigger share of that day. The maximum on the 2-Step path stays a static 10%. Set Equity Guard to the daily percentage of the path you are on. An index scalp does not get a special drawdown.
Partials and news still count as requests
Taking TP1 through TP4 is a few modifications. Trailing after each partial can multiply that. On Standard funded accounts the 2-minute window before a red-folder release and the 2-minute window after it are restricted, and the book is flat before the weekend. Swing allows the hold at 1:30 and does not restrict news. Index scalps are usually flat the same day, which fits Standard, as long as the news window is respected.
A float held through 00:00 CE(S)T rebases the next daily allowance. Scalps that are closed before Prague midnight avoid that trap. Leaving a NAS100 runner open because it is green is how a day trade becomes a rollover breach.
