Day-start balance minus $5,000, equity live all day
Enhanced: at 00:00 Hantec MT5 time, take closed balance B. Daily floor is B minus $5,000 on a $100K (5% of initial, applied to day-start balance). If B is $100,000, equity cannot print $95,000. If B is $107,000 because you banked Phase 1, floor is $102,000. Floating +$2,000 at 23:59 does not change B, so tomorrow's floor stays $102,000, not $104,000. That is the balance-anchor. During 00:01 to 23:59, floating loss still counts. A $5,100 open drawdown fails you even if no ticket has closed.
Start a free Venasri account and set Hantec Enhanced to balance-anchor, not higher-of. If you leave the DNA Funded higher-of preset on a Hantec login, Guard will flatten too early on green overnight holds and too late on red intraday spikes.
Worked example: gold wick to $94,800 with a $100,000 closed balance
Enhanced $100K, B = $100,000, floor $95,000. You buy 1.6 lots XAUUSD. A $32 adverse wick prints -$5,120 floating. Equity $94,880. Account is done. Closed balance is still $100,000. Hantec did not need a midnight trick. It needed one oversized gold ticket. Express would have failed even earlier: 4% daily is $4,000 ($96,000) and the 6% trail may already sit inside that.
Venasri Equity Guard at 4.25% ($4,250) on Enhanced stops that wick at $95,750, which is still a painful day and still a live account. Size gold so a 60-pip stop is 0.45% ($450), about 0.70 lots on a $10/pip-per-0.10-lot gold quote, not 1.6 lots. The calculator is lot size. The 5% line is only the last fence.
Express 4% / 6% trail versus Enhanced 5% / 10% static
Three Express losses of 1.1% on consecutive days can leave you inside the 4% daily line each day and still kiss the 6% trail. Enhanced would have survived the same three days under a static $90,000 floor. Do not copy an Enhanced 4.25% Guard onto Express and call it done. Express needs 3.25% daily and a trailing max lock at 5.25% of peak. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control on Express should also refuse new risk when remaining trail air is under 1.5% of initial.
Instant has whatever daily the dashboard prints, plus the EA ban. If you cannot describe Instant's numbers without opening Hantec's site, you should not calculator-trade it from an Enhanced blog post.
Server midnight and the Hantec bridge clock
Point the ZeroMQ MT5 Bridge at Hantec Markets and set reset to that server's 00:00, not 17:00 New York. Balance-anchor means Guard should read closed balance at reset for the next day's dollar floor, and live equity for the flatten. Those are two feeds. If ZeroMQ only streams equity, you will think overnight green raised the floor (it did not) and you will sit a larger gold size the next morning.
Log one 00:00 print: B, equity, computed floor. If B and equity differ by more than $200, you had float across midnight. On Enhanced that float did not raise the floor. On Express trailing, that float may have raised the max-loss trail. Product name first, then the arithmetic.
