The widened gold stop is the leak you can measure
At $10 per 0.10 move, 1.20 lots cost $12 per pip. Fifty pips is $600. Eighty pips is $960. The difference, $360, appeared because the stop moved, not because the market offered a better idea. A second edit inside the same minute usually moves it again, to a number that "cannot" be hit, which is the number that hits. Three re-entries in five minutes at the new size are three copies of a decision you already lost.
Averaging down adds another 1.20 lots and doubles the pip cost to $24. A further 30 pips is $720 more. Open a Venasri account and write $600 as a ceiling the platform is allowed to enforce, because the moment of the edit is a bad moment to do arithmetic.
The same tilt is fatal faster on Express
Enhanced can lose $5,000 today and $10,000 in total, static. Express can lose $4,000 today, and the 6% trail may be tighter than $6,000 after a high. Two widened gold losses at $960 are $1,920, almost half an Express day. Add a double-size attempt, more than twice the 1.20 lots, and you are through $4,000 without a fifth trade. The 2-week style pause some firms offer is not the product you are in. This account ends.
There is no consistency score to scare you into small size, which is why the tilt feels allowed. Bot controls should block a lot above two times the saved unit, block an add to a red ticket, and block a new market order for five minutes after a stop-out. Those three blocks remove most of the five leaks before the cash block has to work.
Sixty-second edits are also a message-cap problem
Enhanced and Express allow advisors under 2,000 messages a day. Tilt is a burst of cancels and replaces. Twenty edits in a minute, across a handful of pending orders, is a real dent in 2,000, and it often happens while the position is already past the planned $600. Instant Funding makes the whole burst illegal because the advisor should not be there. A manual trader can still widen the stop with the mouse. The cash result is the same.
News evaluations allow the burst during CPI. Funded accounts add a two-minute window, so the revenge click may be a news breach and a size breach together. Weekend opt-in does not excuse carrying the widened leftover so you can "fix it Sunday." A 60-pip gap on the new, larger lot is the fix. It is just not the one you wanted.
Flatten at the product line and end the session earlier
Equity Guard at $4,250 on Enhanced and $3,250 on Express is the outer wall. The inner wall is two planned losses. If the plan was $500, two losses are $1,000 and the session is over, even though thousands remain officially. Tilt begins at the refusal to accept loss number two. The guard that only knows $4,250 will arrive after the widened stops have already done the damage.
Day-start balance will reset at 00:00 and offer you a fresh percentage. It will not refund the static floor you spent, and it will not lower an Express trail you ratcheted up earlier in the week. The 80% or 90% split is unavailable on a closed account. Ending the session is the trade.
