The lifetime floor is two daily lines
Two-phase daily loss is 5%, which is $250, and the maximum starts at 10%, which is $500, so equity at $4,500 is the end before any lock. Phase 1 is 10%, or $500. Phase 2 is 5%, or $250. Four minimum trading days still apply, so you cannot print the $500 target as a single ticket and call the phase done. The day resets at 00:00 server time off the higher of balance or equity.
One-phase daily loss on this same $5,000 is 3%, or $150, with a 10% maximum that is still $500. Traders who memorize the $250 figure and then sit the one-phase exam breach $100 before their notes say they should. Sign up on Venasri with the product name on the card so the $150 book and the $250 book are not stored as one rule.
A $25 stop is 0.12 lots of FX or 0.05 lots of gold
The working risk unit is $25, half a percent. On a major with a $10 pip value at 1.00 lot, a 20-pip stop at 0.12 lots costs $24. At 0.13 lots the same stop is $26 and you have already cheated the unit. Gold is $10 per 0.10 move per 1.00 lot. A 50-pip stop at 0.05 lots is $25. A 0.10 lot gold idea, which looks tiny on a $100,000 screenshot, is $50 here and is already 1%.
One slipped fill matters more than the lot label. If the 50-pip stop becomes a 100-pip fill, 0.05 lots costs $50, a fifth of the entire day. There is no second idea after that if the morning already had a loser. The bot desk should hard-cap gold at 0.05 lots on this balance unless the stop is shorter than 50 pips and the cash risk still prints $25 or less.
Plus $250 of profit moves the floor up by $250
Smart Drawdown locks the maximum at minus 5% once the account is plus 5% ahead. On $5,000 that threshold is $250 of profit, and the floor steps from $4,500 to $4,750. You meet the lock at the same dollar size as one bad day, and at half of the Phase 1 target. From $5,250 of equity the old floor was $750 away. The new floor is $500 away. The cushion people celebrate is the room the rule removes.
The no-challenge Instant book on this size trails 10%, which is still a $500 hole at the start, and it scores a 40% best day. Forty percent of a $500 profit cycle is $200. A $220 gold day can fail that score while remaining inside a $250 loss line if the sign had flipped. If you bought the Instant tier rather than the evaluation, the hero day is the day the firm rejects. Weekend holding on selected Instant tiers needs the add-on. Swing includes it.
Flatten near $213, and near $113 on the one-phase book
Official two-phase death on the day is $250. Equity Guard should flatten near $213, which is 4.25% of $5,000 and leaves a pocket for a gold spread. The one-phase day is $150, so that guard belongs near $113, about 2.25%. A guard copied from a $100,000 article will sit idle while this account is already closed, or it will be aimed at a dollar level this book does not have.
Do not carry a $150 open winner through 00:00 on a $5,000 account. That float is 3% of the book. If the snapshot uses it, a full giveback spends most of the next $250 hole before you place a new trade. Close or partial it. Personal advisors are allowed. Martingale and grid stacking are not, and 2,000 server requests a day is a low ceiling when the lot is this small and the temptation is to scratch the stop every few seconds.
