The stack that never tags $4,000
Funded Maven accounts cap floating loss on one trade idea at 1% to 2%. The breach traders miss is several tickets on the same pair totaling more than 1.5% to 2.0%. On $100K that is $1,500 to $2,000. Three gold positions at $500 each are $1,500 if each stop is real. The closed balance can be $99,200, the daily allowance can look healthy, and the account is already outside the funded rule. The static 8% floor at $92,000 is not the referee here.
The 2-Step evaluation is where people rehearse stacking, because the idea cap is a funded rule and the evaluation feels looser. Do not practice a habit you must delete the week you get paid. Create a Venasri account and block a second ticket on the same symbol once open risk is already $500. The $379 fee is cheaper than learning this on the payout login.
What a $1,900 float does at 00:00
Daily loss uses the higher of day-start balance or floating equity at 00:00 server time. Start at $100,000. Hold +$1,900. The base becomes $101,900. Four percent of $101,900 is $4,076, so the next floor sits near $97,824. If gold gives the $1,900 back after the snapshot, you have used almost half of Tuesday before London is finished, and Monday's closed profit may still be flat. Booking $1,000 before midnight leaves a smaller float and a base you chose.
Equity Guard at $3,250 matches a day that opened at $100,000. It does not match a day that opened at $101,900 unless you move it. Set the flatten on Equity Guard and add a pre-midnight partial for any float above $1,000. The 1-Step daily line is only $3,000, with a trailing 5% maximum of $5,000, so a $3,250 guard is already a breach on that product. Instant trails at 3%, also $3,000.
Instant's 20% score and the news stop
Mini Instant adds a 20% consistency score on top of the trailing 3% maximum. A single day that would have been a normal 2-Step winner can stall an Instant payout. Traders call that hidden because the equity curve is green and the rejection is about the mix, not the $4,000 line. The 2-Step evaluation does not carry that 20% score. Do not assume a pass there is a pass on Instant.
Funded accounts also restrict a 2-minute to 5-minute window before and after red-folder events. A stop that slips through CPI, NFP, or FOMC counts toward the daily loss immediately. If that stop was one of three stacked gold tickets, you can collect both the idea-cap breach and the daily debit from the same wick. Weekend holding is allowed on 1-Step, 2-Step, and 3-Step. A Sunday gap on a stack is the midnight trap with a delay.
One symbol, one risk, bank the float
Bot Control should refuse a third ticket on the same pair, partial floats above $1,000 before 00:00 server time, and pause new funded entries across the news window. The Phase 1 target is still $8,000, built from $500 risks. You do not need three simultaneous gold ideas to get there. Sixteen separate winners do it. Three open ones can end the funded account at $1,500.
If you trade a $50K or $200K Maven login, the dollar cap changes and the percent does not. On $50K, 2% is $1,000. On $200K, 2% is $4,000. Leaving a $2,000 alarm on every login is how the hidden rule stays hidden. Read the balance, multiply by 1.5%, and stop adding. The daily line is the obvious fence. The stack and the snapshot are the ones that catch profitable traders.
