Sixteen $500 winners, then a separate $5,000
Phase 1 on the 2-Step is 8%, which is $8,000 on $100K. Phase 2 is 5%, which is $5,000, and it starts only after the first target is closed. At 0.50% risk the unit is $500. Sixteen 1R winners equal $8,000. Ten trades cover the same $8,000 only if the average winner is about $800, so the stop stays at $500 and the payoff has to be larger than the risk. Doubling risk to $1,000 means two losses consume half of the $4,000 daily line.
Nothing in the Maven rules forces those sixteen trades onto different days. Micro challenges start at $15 and the day-count minimum is zero on every model. The daily loss is the timer. Create a Venasri account and save the 2-Step card as 4% daily, 8% static maximum, 8% then 5%. Keep a second card for the 1-Step so a $3,250 guard is never armed on a book whose official daily line is already $3,000.
What 00:00 does to a green gold float
The daily anchor is the higher of day-start balance or floating equity at 00:00 server time. A flat $100,000 account may lose $4,000. If XAUUSD is +$1,600 at the snapshot, the base is $101,600. Four percent of that base is $4,064, so the next floor sits near $97,536. Handing the $1,600 back after midnight spends a large piece of the new day while the closed balance can still look healthy.
Equity Guard should flatten at 3.25% of the snapshot base. On a day that opens at $100,000 that is $3,250, which is $750 before the official $4,000 print. After a profitable roll, move the guard with the new base instead of leaving yesterday's dollar in place. Set that number on Equity Guard before the first Maven fill, not after the first red morning.
The funded cap that ignores your daily room
Funded Maven accounts limit floating loss on one trade idea to 1% to 2%. The breach people miss is combined tickets on the same pair above 1.5% to 2.0%, which is $1,500 to $2,000 on $100K. Three $500 gold tickets open together are already $1,500. The $4,000 daily line can be untouched and the account can still be finished. That cap is the funded rule. Do not rehearse it for the first time on the payout account.
Instant is not a shortcut around this. The maximum there trails at 3%, $3,000 on $100K, and Instant carries a 20% consistency score the 2-Step evaluation does not. Martingale, grid recovery, and latency bots are prohibited. Trade managers and personal non-HFT EAs are allowed on MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader, and TradeLocker. Adding to a loser to finish the $8,000 is the grid the firm already named.
News, the weekend, and the flatten you schedule
Funded accounts restrict a 2-minute to 5-minute window before and after red-folder events. A stop that slips through CPI, NFP, or FOMC still debits the $4,000 daily loss. Weekend holding is allowed on 1-Step, 2-Step, and 3-Step evaluations, so the Sunday open can be the first ticket against the new daily budget. Bot Control should pause new funded entries across that news window and partial a large float 20 to 40 minutes before 00:00.
Leave three locks on the $100K 2-Step and do not renegotiate them mid-trade: daily flatten at $3,250, a hard stop on every manual entry, and a per-idea ceiling at $1,500. Phase 2 only needs $5,000. Hunting it in one session throws away the spacing that made Phase 1 possible.
