Five actions that spend the $4,000
The leaks that finish a 4% day are specific. One is a burst of three or more new tickets in a five-minute cluster after a loser. Another is dragging the stop farther from price so the original $500 idea becomes $900. A third is a run of edits about a minute apart, each one a little worse. A fourth is adding to the losing ticket. The fifth is a lot more than double the size you wrote down before the session.
On $100K, double the $500 plan is $1,000. Two of those, plus the original loser if it is still open, can cross $1,500. That is the funded floating cap of 1.5% to 2.0% on combined tickets in the same pair, and it can end the account while $2,500 of daily room remains. Start a Venasri account and write the planned lot before the open so a later change is visible.
Why day one is the dangerous day here
Firms that demand three or five trading days at least slow a tilt sequence. Maven does not. A trader can open the $100K 2-Step, lose $500 on gold, and try to win the $8,000 Phase 1 target back before lunch. Four doubled losses of $1,000 are the entire $4,000 daily line. The static maximum of $8,000 never gets a vote.
Equity Guard does not diagnose mood. It flattens at a cash line. Set it at $3,250 on the 2-Step $100K card, which is 3.25%, and do not let a manual override push it out to $3,900 because the next trade "looks clearer." The control sits on Equity Guard. On the 1-Step the official daily line is $3,000, so a $3,250 guard is already past the breach.
Midnight makes a revenge float more expensive
If the revenge trade is green and still open at 00:00, Maven takes the higher of balance or equity as the next base. A +$2,200 float on a $100,000 day sets the base at $102,200. Four percent of $102,200 is $4,088, so the new floor is near $98,112. The pullback you refused to bank becomes Tuesday's drawdown. That is a second bill for the same impulse.
Instant accounts add a 20% consistency score on top of a trailing 3% maximum, $3,000 on $100K. A single oversized green revenge day can violate that score even when the 2-Step daily math would have allowed it. Do not move a tilt habit from the 2-Step onto Instant and expect the 20% score to ignore it.
A hard stop is the tilt interrupt
Manual entries need a stop attached at the fill, not after the first 20 pips of heat. Widening that stop is the edit to block. Bot Control can pause new orders once the day is down $1,500, which is three planned $500 losses, and it can keep funded clicks out of the 2-minute to 5-minute news window. A news stop-out during a tilt sequence still counts as daily loss.
The session rule is dull on purpose. One idea, $500, no second ticket in the same pair until the first is flat, and no size above the written lot. Weekend holding is allowed, which is not permission to carry a revenge runner into Sunday. Flat is the protection when the last click was angry.
