Read the contract before you memorize 3%
Three percent of $50,000 is $1,500, which matches the low end of the published band. Some $50,000 contracts are listed out to $2,000. Expert still does not add a separate intraday daily loss limit, so whichever number is on the contract can be lost in one session. The target is 6%, or $3,000, with no second profit hurdle. One trading day is the minimum on Expert.
Starter on the same balance keeps a 40% best-day share and needs 5 winning days before a payout. Forty percent of a $3,000 target is $1,200. A $1,300 session can stall Starter even though it is inside a $1,500 trail. Know which plan you bought before you celebrate a large green open.
One NQ at 25 points is $500, and that is 1%, not the unit
E-mini Nasdaq is $20 a point. A 25-point stop on one NQ is $500, twice the $250 unit. The unit fits one NQ only if the stop is about 12 points, which is tight for the cash open, or two MNQ at 62 points, about $248, or one MNQ at 125 points, which is a wide structural stop. Five MES at 10 points also equal $250. Pick one expression and stay with it.
The mistake at this size is feeling that micros are a rehearsal and E-minis are the real account. One impulsive NQ is already double the budget. Contract caps in the bot should block a second index product while the first is open. Nasdaq and the S&P are the same dollar bet on most mornings.
A 1.00 lot gold idea is $500 and does not belong on this unit
The MT5 mirror of $250 is 1.25 lots of a major with a 20-pip stop, at $10 a pip on 1.00 lot, or 0.50 lots of gold with a 50-pip stop. A full 1.00 gold lot on that 50-pip stop is $500. It looks like a standard click. It is 1% of the $50,000 account and a third of a $1,500 trail. Two of them are most of the tighter trail.
If the gold stop slips from 50 pips to 80 on 0.50 lots, the cash risk becomes $400. That single fill is already more than a quarter of the $1,500 floor. Shorten the lot when the stop must be wider. Do not keep the lot and hope the CME open is polite.
Flatten near $1,125 until the dashboard says $2,000
Equity Guard should sit near $1,125 on the $1,500 trail, leaving $375 for slippage. If the contract truly shows a $2,000 trail, you can discuss moving the guard toward $1,500, and not before. A guard set at $2,000 on the tighter contract fires after the account is already over. Expert will not save you with a daily loss limit that does not exist on that plan.
The mark is 4:10 PM ET, and Friday must be flat before the afternoon CME close. The $100,000 fee listed for MyFundedFutures is $150, but that number is not this account. Register with Venasri using the trail figure copied from the contract, not from a $100,000 article that says $3,000.
