Your bot is allowed, and someone else's signal is not
cBots and MT5 Expert Advisors are permitted when they express your own logic. Harvesting tick latency and copying a public signal sit outside that permission. The platforms are cTrader, Match-Trader, and MT5. Pick one login for the strategy so the update count and the risk both have a single home.
A risk tool that attaches a stop and a few partials is a different animal from a grid that fires ten modifications a minute. The first can live inside 2,000 updates. The second cannot. Create a Venasri login and point it at the PipFarm platform you actually trade, not at all three.
Thirty-three minutes is the whole day at one update a second
2,000 seconds is 33 minutes and 20 seconds. That is the life of the ceiling if the EA modifies once per second. Even a calmer pace of one update every ten seconds lasts about five and a half hours, which is one session, not a week. Scalpers who trail NAS100 through the New York morning are the accounts that discover this at lunch.
Plan the modifications you truly need: initial stop, breakeven, and a handful of partials. That is a dozen updates on a ticket, not a thousand. Bot controls should send those steps and then stay quiet, even when the firm would still accept another message.
Endurance can kill a single ticket that has no stop
Endurance mode applies a kill switch when a single trade breaks the position-risk limit. The usual meeting place is gold or an index held without a pre-set stop, because the floating loss becomes the limit before you type a number. The 2,000 update ceiling does not replace that switch. A silent naked position uses zero updates and can still end the trade.
Classic and Consistency still care about the 4% day, which is $4,000 on $100,000, and about the static floor in the 8% to 10% band. An EA that is legal on those modes is not legal as a public-signal copier. Own logic, own stops, own update budget.
Flatten the automated book before the ceiling or the day
Equity Guard at $3,250 on a $100,000 flagship account stops the session inside the $4,000 day. Endurance should use about $2,250 against its $3,000 day. Automation is the reason to arm this, because the bot continues after you leave the screen, and it may still have updates left.
News trading is blocked in a two-minute window on either side of a high-impact release until the account reaches XP Rank 3. An EA that does not know the clock will place the forbidden open. Teach it the window, or flatten ahead of the print. The update cap will not be the thing that saves that ticket.
