The lifetime floor is two daily lines
On the Silver, Bronze, and Copper books a $5,000 account carries a 5% day and a static 10% maximum from the initial balance. In cash that is $250 today and $500 for the life of the starting equity, so $4,500 is the end. Phase 1 asks for $400, which is 8%. The next phase asks for 5%, or $250. Four minimum trading days still apply, so one ticket cannot finish the phase even if the profit were large enough.
Gold 1-step on the same $5,000 is a different contract. Daily loss is 4%, or $200, and the trailing maximum is 6%, or $300. A trader who memorizes $250 and then sits the 1-step exam is already through the official day while the note still says there is room. A $25 stop is 0.12 lots of FX or 0.05 lots of gold
The working unit is $25, half a percent. On a major with a $10 pip value at 1.00 lot, a 20-pip stop at 0.12 lots costs $24. At 0.13 lots the same stop is $26 and the unit is already gone. Gold at $10 per pip on 1.00 lot needs 0.05 lots on a 50-pip stop to risk $25. A 0.10 lot gold idea, which looks tiny on a larger screenshot, is $50 here and is 1% of the account.
One widened gold fill matters more than the lot label. If the 50-pip stop becomes a 100-pip fill, 0.05 lots costs $50, a fifth of the entire day. There is no casual second idea after that. The bot desk should hard-cap gold at 0.05 lots on this balance unless the stop is shorter and the cash risk still prints $25 or less. Every order still needs a stop. A naked click is a breach before the $25 math starts.
The $400 target and the $200 single-trade share
At $25 risk, a 2R winner pays about $50. Eight of those, with no losers, are the $400 Phase 1 target. You will have losers, and four minimum days mean the path is supposed to be longer than an afternoon. What fails the account is risking $75 to finish faster. Three such losses are $225, the whole day with $25 of spread still unused.
Multi-step plans cap one trade at 50% of the profit contribution. Half of $400 is $200. A single $210 winner can stall the phase while remaining inside a $250 loss line if the sign had flipped. The hero day this account seems to need is the day the contribution rule rejects. Keep the session inside a share you can explain.
Flatten near $212, and do not import a $100,000 guard
Official death on the 5% day is $250. Equity Guard should flatten near $212, about 4.25% of $5,000, and leave a pocket for a gold spread. Gold 1-step should flatten closer to $162 because the official day is $200. A guard copied from a $100,000 article sits at a dollar level this account does not have, and it will not fire in time.
The reset uses day-start balance and equity at 00:00 CET. Do not carry a $150 open winner through that clock on a $5,000 book. That float is 3% of the account. If it gives back after the snapshot, the new day spends it against a $250 hole that was supposed to be fresh. Close or partial it, then start the next session from cash you have booked.
