API automation inside CME ratios, not FTMO 2,000
Platforms: TopstepX, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower. No MT5 in the 2026 matrix. Message limits are CME Globex efficiency ratios, not a 2,000 MT5-modify metaphor. Tick firehoses still get you a review. Semi-auto trade assistants are the intended tools. A bot that cannot flatten at 3:10 PM CT is not a Topstep bot.
$100K Combine: $6,000 target, $3,000 EOD trailing max that locks at initial balance, 50 percent consistency (best day cannot exceed $3,000 of the $6,000), 2 minimum days, $99/month. Daily 2 percent is a recommended/soft guard on TopstepX relative to the EOD trail that actually kills accounts.
Copying NQ signals into 20 micros
Copy-trading a Discord NQ call into a Combine is how consistency and flatten rules die. If you automate, own the logic, cap contracts so a -1R is a few hundred dollars, not $2,000. Live Funded adds Tier-1 economic flatten windows the Combine may not have trained you for. Code the Live rule on the Combine if that is your destination.
Why an MT5 gold EA does not port
XAUUSD $100/point lots, Prague 00:00, 5 percent daily: none of that is Topstep. NQ point value, 5:00 PM CT new session, 3:10 PM flatten, EOD trail $3,000. Rebuild the bot. Venasri's MT5 ZeroMQ path is for CFD prop logins. Use it on FTMO. On Topstep, use the futures API and still keep a daily dollar cap in your own risk layer.
Force flatten 3:10 PM CT, cap BestDay at $2,700
Your automation must flatten before 3:10 PM CT. Set a software daily profit lock near $2,700 so a runner cannot print $3,800 and rewrite the $6,000 target via 50 percent consistency ($3,800 / 0.50 = $7,600 new implied work). Keep a personal flatten in front of the $3,000 EOD trail.
start free on Venasri for CFD books you also run. For this Combine, treat Venasri Equity Guard as the dollar-discipline template ($2,000-class flatten) you reimplement on the futures API, and use 24/7 MT5 Bot Control only on MT5 accounts, not as a TopstepX replacement.
