The scalp ends at 3:10 PM CT
Index scalps on this firm are intraday because every position is flat before 3:10 PM CT, and the new CME session is 5:00 PM CT. A NAS100 idea that needs the close or the next morning is a different market. The bot should flatten the index book on that clock, including a winner. The breach is the open position.
Daily loss is 2%. On $100,000 that is $2,000. The 60 to 100 point stop has to be a fraction of that day. The rule gives the point distance, not a dollar value per index point. Equity Guard at 1.25% is the account flatten in front of the 2% line.
60 to 100 points once 13:30 UTC settles
9:30 AM ET is 13:30 UTC. The opening whip trades both sides of NAS100 and US30. The stop goes on after the candle settles. Entering during the whip is how a 60 point plan becomes the whole $2,000 day. CME Globex order-to-fill limits still apply if a tool is editing that stop on every tick.
There is no published 200 trade cap. Importing one from a CFD index page will make you count the wrong thing. Count the flatten and the point stop. Create a Venasri account and keep the index session separate from any product that allows a weekend hold.
A clean open can still be too large
The 50% rule on a $100,000 Combine caps the largest day at $3,000 against a $6,000 target. An index expansion that pays $3,800 rewrites the target to $7,600. You were flat at 3:10 and still failed the pass shape. The trail, $3,000 on $100,000, can be fine at the same time.
Phase 1 is 6%. Phase 2 is 0%. Two minimum days do not require you to take the entire target on the open. Ten to sixteen trades at 0.50% is the slower path that keeps the best day inside the ceiling.
The cash open and a Tier-1 release
Evaluation news is permitted. Live funded accounts use Tier-1 flatten windows. If a release lands on the 13:30 UTC open, the live account follows that window plus the 3:10 PM CT flat. The 60 to 100 point stop does not waive either clock.
The $99 monthly fee on $100,000 is the subscription. Platforms include TopstepX, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, and Quantower. The index order needs its stop on whichever of those holds the fill. Payouts still need five winning days of at least $200.
