The same lot band, a smaller day
The plan caps a $100,000 account at 0.80 to 1.45 standard lots with a 50 to 70 pip stop and $10 per pip on a 0.10 move. The daily loss those lots must respect is 2%, or $2,000, not a 5% CFD day. Equity Guard at 1.25% is the flatten in front of that $2,000. A COMEX open wick is the reason the stop is 50 to 70 pips rather than a scratch.
The end-of-day trailing loss on $100,000 is $3,000. A gold winner that is closed before 3:10 PM CT can still lift the trail at the session mark. The lot cap does not freeze the trail. Manual Trade Guard puts the stop on at the fill and flattens the remainder at the clock.
Friday gold does not become Sunday gold
Weekend holding is prohibited. A gold swing that needs the Sunday reopen belongs on a firm that allows the hold. Here the position is flat before 3:10 PM CT and before the 5:00 PM CT session. The wick you are managing is the COMEX open inside the day, not a Monday gap you chose to carry.
News is permitted in the evaluation. Live funded accounts use Tier-1 flatten windows. Gold is often the instrument those windows hit. The 0.80 to 1.45 cap still applies when the news trade is allowed. Create a Venasri account and keep the gold profile on the 2% day.
A gold day can be too good
The 50% rule on a $100,000 Combine caps the largest day at $3,000 against a $6,000 target. A gold expansion that pays more than that rewrites the target, including the published case of a $3,800 day becoming a $7,600 target. The lot was legal. The day was not.
Phase 1 is 6%. Phase 2 is 0%. Minimum days are two. You do not need a single gold day to do the whole $6,000. Ten to sixteen trades at 0.50% is the pass shape. One 1.45 lot runner is how the consistency rule gets involved.
Where the gold order actually lives
Orders may be on TopstepX, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, or Quantower. The stop has to be on the platform that holds the position. CME order-to-fill limits apply if a tool is modifying the gold stop all morning. The $99 monthly fee on $100,000 does not add a weekend session.
Payouts still want five winning days of at least $200, then up to 50% of balance, 100% of the first $10,000 and 90% after. A gold plan that only produces one giant day will struggle with both consistency and the five-day count.
