A $12.90 pip because you get paid in pounds
1.00 lot is 100,000 EUR quoted in GBP. A 0.0001 pip is 10 GBP, about $12.90 at typical Cable rates. That is heavier than EURUSD's $10, so 5.16 lots at 15 pips is 1%, not 6.67 lots. ATR 32 to 52 pips is the smallest G10 range in this set, which is the point of the pair.
Spread 0.2 to 0.7 pips during Europe 06:30 to 11:30 UTC is excellent. Figures at 0.8400, 0.8450, 0.8500 (and 25/75) are the relative-value steps. After 16:00 UTC the book is an afterthought.
USD-neutral until dual Thursday
US CPI can leave EURGBP almost unchanged while both USD pairs scream. That is why prop traders use it as a "news hide." Dual BoE+ECB Thursdays remove the hide: relative rate paths gap 30 to 50 pips, and $12.90 makes 5.16 lots a $2,000 event at 30 pips.

5.16 lots at 15 pips with a heavy tick
lots = 1000 / (stop pips × 12.90). At 15 pips: 1000 / 193.5 = 5.17, stored as 5.16 lots. At 0.50% that is 2.58 lots. Scalp 6 to 10, intraday 12 to 20, swing 30 to 50. Enter 12.90 in the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard. A leftover $10 pip setting would let you open 6.67 lots and silently risk 1.29%.
If EURUSD and GBPUSD are both open, you already own this cross as a residual. Adding 5.16 lots of EURGBP is a third expression of Europe.
European session only, hide from USD, respect dual CB
Trade 06:30 to 11:30 UTC mean reversion or slow relative trend at 25/50/75/00, spread under 0.7, 15-pip-class stop. Skip dual Thursdays at full size. Do not trade it as an NFP proxy; that is the one job it refuses.
