The 1-Step is the tighter loss contract
1-Step daily loss is $4,000 on $100,000. The maximum trails at 6%, $6,000 at the start. There is one target phase to think about, and the sheet's published phase figures of 8% and 5% belong to the 2-Step path. Open a Venasri account with a 1-Step card and a 2-Step card so the $4,000 line is never guarded as if it were $5,000.
2-Step daily loss is $5,000. The maximum is static, either 8% ($92,000 floor) or 10% ($90,000 floor). Phase 1 is $8,000 and Phase 2 is $5,000. You do more steps, and you get a floor that stays put after a winning week. There is no minimum trading-day count on either product.
Pass odds follow the floor, not the step count
A trader who loses $1,200 three times is down $3,600. That is inside both daily lines and inside both opening maximums. The fourth $1,200 loss is $4,800. The 1-Step day is already dead at $4,000. The 2-Step day survives until $5,000. Same strategy, different product, different ending, before anyone talks about Phase 2.
After a $5,000 winning run, the 2-Step static floor has not moved. The 1-Step trail has. Giving that $5,000 back can consume most of a $6,000 trail. Equity Guard on the 1-Step should sit near $3,200 of daily loss and should also watch distance to the trail. On the 2-Step the daily flatten can sit near $4,000.
Shared rules that do not pick a side
Both products reset the daily figure from the closed balance at 00:00 and do not punish a floating winner. Both fail when open equity touches the daily line. Both allow news without a 2-minute profit confiscation, both allow overnight and weekend holding, and neither has a best-day consistency rule. The split on either funded result is 80% to 90%, first payout after 14 days or 7 with the add-on.
Bot Control can run on both. Expert Advisors are allowed. High-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, and grid martingale are not. The request cap is 2,000 a day. The $100,000 fee is $500. None of those shared terms make the 6% trail as wide as a static 10% floor.
Where the 3-Step sits in the choice
The 3-Step maximum is a static 5%, $5,000 on $100,000. That is equal to one 2-Step daily loss and larger than a 1-Step daily loss by $1,000, and it does not reset. If your method can lose $3,000 in a week on the way to an 8% target, the 3-Step is the product that cannot hold that path. The 2-Step 10% card can.
Choose the 1-Step when you want one phase and you will keep stops near $300 to $400 so the $4,000 day and the $6,000 trail both have many attempts. Choose the 2-Step 10% card when you swing and you need the floor to stay at $90,000 after a green week. The static 8% card is the 2-Step version where the $8,000 target and the maximum are the same number.
