What the bot is allowed to do
A personal EA and a risk guard may manage entries and stops. A grid that adds to a loser, a martingale that doubles the lot, a latency strategy, or a high-frequency stream of orders is outside the rule. The $100,000 fee is $500. There is no minimum trading-day count. Create a Venasri profile and turn the banned styles off before the EA is attached to the Lark login.
The 2-Step daily loss is 5% and the 1-Step daily loss is 4%. The maximum is static 8% to 10% on the 2-Step, a 6% trail on the 1-Step, and a static 5% on the 3-Step. An allowed EA that risks 2% will still finish a 5% day in three losses. Permission to automate is not permission to size up.
Two thousand requests is the quiet trail
The ceiling is 2,000 requests a day. A stop that updates on every small gold fluctuation can spend that budget before London is finished, even when the strategy is not high-frequency in the way the firm means the ban. Move the stop when price reaches a level you already chose, then leave the order alone.
Bot Control should own that behavior: one stop at the fill, later moves only at planned prices, and no grid. Equity Guard still has to flatten a $100,000 2-Step book near $4,000 of daily loss so the official $5,000 touch is not the first exit. The guard is allowed. The grid is not.
The loss line does not care that a bot sent the order
Lark Funding fails the account when open equity touches the daily floor, even though the daily reset itself uses the closed balance at 00:00 and does not punish a floating winner. A bot that holds a loser through the touch is a breach. A bot that holds a winner across midnight is using the balance-based rule correctly, as long as the giveback later does not tag the line.
News trading is permitted on standard evaluations and funded accounts without a 2-minute profit confiscation. The bot may be in the market for CPI. The slippage still reduces equity. Overnight and weekend holding are allowed, so a Friday algorithm has to know the Sunday gap counts the moment it touches the daily cash line.
Payouts do not exempt the code
The split is 80% to 90%. The first payout is 14 days after funding, or 7 days with the add-on. There is no best-day consistency rule on 1-Step or 2-Step. An EA that makes $6,000 of an $8,000 Phase 1 target in one session is inside that consistency statement and still inside the $5,000 daily loss only if the open path never went the other way by that much.
Phase 1 is 8% and Phase 2 is 5% on the 2-Step figures. Keep per-trade risk near $400 to $500 on $100,000 so the allowed bot needs many stops to reach $5,000. If the code can double the lot after a loss, it is the martingale pattern the firm already banned, whatever the file name says.
