Count stops against $5,000, not against a feeling
The 2-Step daily loss is $5,000 on $100,000. Risk $250 and you need twenty full stops to spend it. Risk $500 and you need ten. Risk $1,000 and you need five. Phase 1 is $8,000, so the $500 ticket needs a run of winners, not a single oversized one, if you also want ten stops of room. Open a Venasri account and lock the dollar risk before the lot is typed.
The 2-Step maximum is static from 8% to 10%, $8,000 to $10,000. An 8% card means two full $5,000 days would already be past the lifetime floor, except the first day would have ended the account at $5,000. The daily line binds first. The 10% card leaves $5,000 of lifetime room after one maxed day, which you will not see if the day already failed.
EURUSD, gold, and the lot that matches $400
On a $10-per-pip EURUSD quote, a 20-pip stop at $400 of risk is 2.00 lots. XAUUSD at 1.00 lot is about $100 per $1, so a $4 stop on 1.00 lot is about $400, and a $4 stop on 0.50 lots is about $200. NAS100 at $1 per point needs 8.0 lots on a 50-point stop to risk $400. The lot is the output. The stop distance is the input.
Equity Guard should flatten the $100,000 2-Step book near $4,000, which is ten of the $400 tickets, not twelve. Leaving the last $1,000 unspent is the point. Bot Control should refuse a lot that implies more than $500 until you change the number on purpose.
The 1-Step trail changes the same lot
1-Step daily loss is $4,000 and the maximum trails at 6%, $6,000 at the start. A $400 stop fits ten times in the day and about fifteen times in a fresh trail, but the trail shrinks in usefulness once you raise the lot after a winner. Double to $800 and the fresh trail fits about seven stops. That is the scale-up that feels earned and is not.
The 3-Step maximum is static at $5,000. A $400 stop fits twelve times in the whole account, not in the day. There is no minimum trading-day count. There is no best-day consistency rule on 1-Step or 2-Step. Neither fact is a reason to risk $1,500 because the target is $8,000 and you are impatient.
Correlation is a lot-size rule
Two $400 EURUSD longs and one $400 GBPUSD long in the same direction are closer to $1,200 of one idea than to three tries. The $5,000 day adds them. Four correlated losers of $400 are $1,600, and a gold position on top can push the morning through $3,000 before New York. Write the theme once, then the dollars.
Expert Advisors are allowed. A grid that adds a second lot into a loser is the banned pattern, and it is also bad math against $5,000. High-frequency trading and latency arbitrage are banned. The request cap is 2,000 a day. News is permitted without a 2-minute confiscation, so size the news lot for the wick, not for the calm spread you saw an hour earlier.
