Permission is not a wider daily line
The news rule is permission, on both the evaluation and the funded account, without a 2-minute profit confiscation. There is no separate blackout minute count on the standard sheet. The 2-Step daily loss remains 5%, $5,000 on $100,000, and the 1-Step daily loss remains 4%, $4,000. Open a Venasri account and do not paste another firm's 2-minute or 5-minute ban onto this login.
Maximum loss is still static 8% to 10% on the 2-Step, a 6% trail on the 1-Step, and a static 5% on the 3-Step. A news trade that survives the daily line can still finish a 3-Step account, because that entire life is $5,000 on $100,000, the same cash as one 2-Step day.
What a gold wick costs during the print
One standard lot of XAUUSD is about $100 per $1 of price. A $20 spike on 1.50 lots is about $3,000. Add the spread that appears when CPI hits and a planned $2,000 stop can become $3,500. Two of those, or one of them plus an earlier loser, reach the $5,000 day. The firm will not delete the profit if you win. It will also not ignore the loss if you do not.
Equity Guard should flatten a $100,000 2-Step book near $4,000 before the release, or cut the lot so a $30 gold move cannot reach $5,000. Bot Control can pause new entries into the print even though Lark Funding does not require the pause. The pause is how you keep a permitted trade from becoming the touch.
Funded and evaluation use the same news sentence
Unlike desks that allow the print only during the exam, Lark Funding states the permission for standard evaluations and funded accounts together. You do not graduate into a surprise confiscation window. You do graduate into the same equity touch. A funded stop-out on NFP spends the daily loss the way an evaluation stop-out does.
The request ceiling is 2,000 a day. A bot that cancels and replaces orders through the print can breach that ceiling while the trade itself was legal. High-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, and grid martingale stay banned. A single planned order with a hard stop is the shape that fits both the news permission and the request cap.
Weekend gaps are the other fast candle
Overnight and weekend holding are allowed. Sunday's open can move gold as hard as a scheduled release, and the daily loss is live as soon as equity touches it. The reset at 00:00 uses the closed balance and does not punish a floating winner, so a green hold into the new day does not raise the floor. A red gap still fails the account if it tags the line.
There is no best-day consistency rule on 1-Step or 2-Step, so a large winning news day does not, by that rule, block the 80% to 90% split. The first payout is still 14 days, or 7 days with the add-on. Phase 1 remains 8%. A $6,000 CPI winner helps that target. A $5,000 CPI loser ends the 2-Step day.
