The hold is allowed on the standard book
Overnight holding is allowed, and weekend holding is allowed. There is no Friday flat rule on the sheet. The 2-Step daily loss is still 5%, $5,000 on $100,000, and the 1-Step daily loss is 4%, $4,000. Open a Venasri account and mark the account as a swing book so a day-trader flatten preset does not fight a hold the firm permits.
The maximum stays static from 8% to 10% on the 2-Step, trails 6% on the 1-Step, and is a static 5% on the 3-Step. A weekend hold on the 3-Step is a hold inside a $5,000 lifetime hole. That is one daily-sized loss for a 2-Step trader, and it is the entire account on the 3-Step.
A green float does not raise Monday's floor
If you carry $3,000 of open profit through 00:00 and the closed balance is still $100,000, Lark Funding does not recompute the next day from $103,000. The daily allowance comes back from the closed balance. Giving back that $3,000 on Sunday does not, by itself, mean you spent a raised floor. It means the open profit disappeared.
The breach is the touch. If the gap does not stop at a scratch and equity reaches $95,000 on a $100,000 2-Step, the account is finished even if price later returns. Equity Guard has to be active while the market is closed or the moment it reopens, because you will not click fast enough at the Sunday print.
Swap changes equity, and equity is the test
A multi-day hold pays or charges swap. That cash changes equity. Lark Funding does not publish a special Wednesday multiplier in the rule fields used here. What it does publish is the touch: if swap plus price takes equity through the daily line, the account fails. On a $100,000 2-Step, plan the hold so financing plus a normal gap stays inside $4,000, not inside $5,000.
Bot Control can reduce the lot before Friday's close without forbidding the hold. Cutting 1.00 lot of gold to 0.40 lots turns a $30 gap from about $3,000 into about $1,200. The firm allows the full lot. The $5,000 line decides whether the full lot was a good idea.
News, payouts, and a swing that is still funded
News trading is permitted without a 2-minute profit confiscation, including on funded accounts. A swing that is open for CPI is an allowed position. The slippage counts. There is no best-day consistency rule on 1-Step or 2-Step, so a gap winner can be a large piece of the 8% Phase 1 target. A gap loser of $5,000 cannot.
The split is 80% to 90%, first payout after 14 days or 7 with the add-on. Expert Advisors and risk guards are allowed. High-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, and grid martingale are not, which matters if a Sunday robot starts adding lots into the hole. The request cap is 2,000 a day. One protective reduce-order is enough.
