One gold lot, fifty dollars, eight mistakes
Four percent of $10,000 is $400. Eight percent is $800. Phase 1 is 8%, so the target and the lifetime floor are the same $800 on this size. The 0.50% unit is $50. Gold at $10 per pip on 0.10 lots means 0.01 lots is $1 per pip, and 50 pips is $50. This is the rare Maven size where the minimum gold lot and the written risk agree, as long as you do not widen the stop to 70 pips. Seventy pips at 0.01 lots is $70, which is 0.70%.
Eight stopped $50 trades reach the $400 daily line. You do not get a ninth. Open a Venasri account and set the default gold ticket to 0.01 with a 50-pip stop. A second 0.01 is a different trade and a different $50, not a scale-in you can ignore.
Three tickets and the $150 cap
Funded accounts cap a trade idea at 1% to 2%, and the combined-ticket breach on one pair is 1.5% to 2.0%. On $10K that is $150 to $200. Three open 0.01 gold lots are $150 if each carries a 50-pip stop. The daily line still has $250 left if nothing else has lost. The idea rule does not care. This is the $10K-specific failure: the lot looks tiny, so traders stack it.
Equity Guard for the day belongs at 3.25%, which is $325, under the $400 official print. A second alarm at $150 of open loss on XAUUSD is the idea cap. Both belong on Equity Guard. The 1-Step daily loss is 3%, $300, so $325 is already through that contract. Instant trails at 3% as well, another $300. Label the login before you copy the 2-Step guard.
The $800 target is sixteen winners, not one morning
Sixteen $50 winners equal the $800 Phase 1 target if each pays 1R. Ten winners cover $800 only if they average $80, which is more than the $50 stop. There is no minimum day count, including on the cheap entry sizes, so the calendar will not force you to spread the sixteen. The $400 day will. Two full daily losses of $400 are the entire $800 static maximum. You cannot "reset mentally" and spend another $400 the next day. The floor is cumulative.
A +$220 gold float held through 00:00 is added into the higher-of snapshot. The next 4% is taken from $10,220, not from $10,000. Partial anything larger than one planned winner before the server midnight. Weekend holding is allowed, and a Sunday gap on a stacked 0.03 lot position is three times the $50 plan.
Keep the $10K card off the $100K habit
A $100K plan risks $500. That is 5% of this $10K account and more than the entire $400 daily line. Copying a 0.10 lot from a larger account is $500 on a 50-pip stop, a one-trade breach. Bot Control should reject any gold lot above 0.01 unless you have explicitly cut the stop distance so the dollar is still $50, and it should pause the 2-minute to 5-minute funded news window.
Payouts, once funded, are 80% every 10 business days, and the idea cap still applies. Passing Phase 1 at $50 risk and then trading 0.05 lots because the account "feels funded" is how the $800 of profit and the $400 day disappear together. Stay at one 0.01 lot until the balance you are graded on actually changes.
