Six $50 stops and the $300 trail is finished
Three percent of $10,000 is $300. That is the end-of-day trail on this slice, and Expert does not hand you a separate daily refill once it is used. The 6% target is $600. At $50 risk, a 1R winner pays about $50, so the target is on the order of twelve net units after losses. Spending the trail on purpose, twice, would also equal $600, and it would also equal the end of the slice.
A nudge from $50 to $60 feels like one extra MES point. Six of those nudges are $360, which is past the trail with two stops still unused. Bot controls can reject the order when the cash risk prints above $50. That is a better check than remembering the point value after the fill.
0.25 FX lots and 0.10 gold lots match the same $50
On MT5, $10 a pip at 1.00 lot means 0.25 lots with a 20-pip stop cost $50 exactly. The next ladder step, 0.30 lots, is $60. Gold at $10 per 0.10 move needs 0.10 lots on a 50-pip stop to risk the same $50. Both numbers are round, which is why they get nudged. On the futures side, one MNQ with a 25-point stop is also $50, because micro Nasdaq is $2 a point.
Do not run the MT5 gold ticket and the MES ticket as if they were separate budgets. A dollar-down morning hits both. One $50 unit is the plan. Two correlated $50 units are $100, a third of the trail, before lunch.
A winner held into 4:10 PM ET can ratchet a small trail
The MyFundedFutures mark is 4:10 PM ET, with Globex rollover near 5:00 PM ET. On a $10,000 slice a $120 open winner is 1.2% of the book and more than two risk units. If the end-of-day equity includes it, the trail can step up from that richer number. A full giveback after the mark spends $120 of a $300 trail while yesterday still looks like a win in the closed blotter.
Friday positions still have to be out before the afternoon CME close on the real evaluation. A slice you are rehearsing should follow the same clock so the habit exists before the $50,000 account does. Partial the float before 4:10 PM ET if you do not want the next session to inherit it.
The flatten on this slice is $225, not $2,250
Equity Guard belongs near $225, which is 2.25% of $10,000 and leaves $75 before the $300 trail. The $2,250 figure from a $100,000 plan will sit idle while this slice is already closed. If you later move to the $50,000 evaluation, the guard becomes about $1,125, and the trail becomes the published $1,500 to $2,000 band, not three times this worksheet.
Starter, if that is the live product you eventually buy, still has the 40% best-day share and 5 winning days. A $250 day on a $600 target is already over 40%. Open a Venasri account and keep the $10,000 slice off the same risk card as any live MyFundedFutures login.
