The second day is already injured before it starts
Lose $220 and the trail has $80 left. The unit is $50. One more full stop, plus a slip, finishes the slice even if you trade perfectly the next morning. The target is $600, which is 6%. You cannot spend the trail twice and call it a path to the target. At $50 risk, twelve net winners are $600, and they have to arrive without a $220 hole.
The Test still wants 5 days and a best day at or under half of profit. Half of $600 is $300. A $320 day fails the share and is larger than the trail. Cap the green day near $200 on this slice. Bot controls should stop new risk once either $50 of open loss is already working or session profit nears that cap.
Ten MES points, 25 MNQ points, or 0.25 FX lots
One MES at 10 points is $50, because the micro S&P pays $5 a point. Eleven points is $55 and is already a different plan. One MNQ at 25 points is also $50, at $2 a point. On MT5, 0.25 lots of a major with a 20-pip stop is $50, and 0.10 lots of gold with a 50-pip stop is $50. The 0.30 lot FX click is $60. Six of those are $360, past both the day and the trail.
One NQ does not belong here. A 10-point stop on the E-mini is $200, almost the entire day, at $20 a point. If the platform defaults to the E-mini ladder, change the symbol before you change the stop.
A slice that rallies $150 can still teach the PRO trail
On a live PRO account the trail follows the high until the buffer is built. On this worksheet, a pop to $10,150 and a giveback of $300 would be the whole 3% distance. You do not need the full product to rehearse that. If you only watch the $220 hole from the start, you will miss a giveback that began above the start. Mark the session high in cash, not only the drawdown from the open.
Flat by 5:00 PM ET on the real account. Rehearse the flatten on the slice so the clock exists before the $50,000 evaluation does. A $100 open winner held through the close is 1% of this book and a large share of a young Test.
The flatten is $145, leaving $75 under the day
Equity Guard near $145 is 1.45% of $10,000. That leaves $75 before $220, enough for one slip and not enough for a second idea. After a day that already lost $220, the guard on the next session has to respect the $80 trail remainder, not a fresh $145. Otherwise you flatten $65 too late, after the account is dead.
Open a Venasri account and keep this $10,000 card away from the $100,000 card, where the day is $2,200 and the unit is $500. The percents match. The dollars do not travel.
