5.00 lots is correct and 6.00 lots is a 20% raise
The standard day is 4%, or $8,000. The static maximum is 10%, or $20,000, so equity at $180,000 ends the evaluation. Half a percent is $1,000. At $10 per pip, a 20-pip stop needs 5.00 lots. Six lots on the same stop cost $1,200. Five of those overweight losses are $6,000, and you have used three quarters of the day on a plan you thought was only slightly larger.
Gold at 2.00 lots with a 50-pip stop is the same $1,000. The dangerous round number is 3.00 lots, which is $1,500 on that stop. One COMEX wick that doubles the fill turns 2.00 lots into a $2,000 loss, a quarter of the day, from a single ticket. Bot controls should compute the cash from the actual stop distance, not from the lot label that looked familiar on a $100,000 account.
The $2,000 gap is two units, and Phase 2 wants $12,000
Phase 1 is $18,000. The floor is $20,000. The gap is $2,000, exactly two risk units. Phase 2 is 6%, or $12,000. Three minimum trading days apply. At 2R the unit pays about $2,000, so the first target is a sequence, and a sequence this long will include losers. Budget for them inside the $8,000 day. Two full days are $16,000 and leave $4,000 of the lifetime floor. A third full day does not exist.
Endurance on $200,000 is a $6,000 day and a $12,000 trail. The $8,000 figure is $2,000 too loose for that mode. Consistency caps the best day at 50% of cycle profit. Half of $18,000 is $9,000. A $9,500 session fails Consistency even if the 4% line never printed. Classic can bank that day. The 70% base split, rising toward 95% with rank, applies to profit you are allowed to withdraw. It does not insure the $20,000 floor.
Slippage and the UTC snapshot both scale with the lot
At 5.00 lots, each extra pip of FX slippage is $50. A news print that runs 10 pips past the stop is $500, half a unit, on top of the planned $1,000. Under Rank 3 you should not be opening or closing inside the two-minute window at all. Rank 3 and higher may, and the slip still counts against the $8,000. Gold slippage is harsher: 2.00 lots lose $20 per 0.10 of extra travel.
The 00:00 UTC anchor uses the higher of balance and floating equity. A $6,000 open winner is 3% of this book. Donating it to the snapshot can make the next day start from a richer base, and a giveback spends most of the $8,000 hole. Partial before the clock. Weekend holds, legal on Classic and by rank perk elsewhere, are the same rule with a Sunday gap attached. The 2,000-message cap is also easier to hit when 5.00 lot trails edit through two sessions.
Flatten near $6,500 and rebuild the unit after any scale
Equity Guard on the standard book should flatten near $6,500, which is 3.25% of $200,000 and leaves $1,500 before the official $8,000. Endurance should flatten near $4,500 against its $6,000 day. Waiting for the firm print means the breach and your exit are the same event, with no room for the extra pips this lot size will actually fill.
Open a Venasri account and store the $1,000 unit as cash, not as a lot you remember from a smaller challenge. A 20-pip FX idea is 5.00 lots here. A 30-pip FX idea is 3.33 lots if you want the same $1,000. A 50-pip gold idea is 2.00 lots. Change the stop, then change the lot, then send the order.
