A stop assistant is in bounds, and a speed bot is not
The firm draws the line at high-frequency unattended trading. A tool that attaches a stop, moves it to breakeven after a planned target, or scales out in a few staged pieces is semi-automated. A bot that enters, cancels, and re-enters through the 9:30 AM ET open without you is the prohibited pattern. The distinction is whether a person is still choosing the idea.
PRO adds a one-minute blackout around FOMC, NFP, and CPI. An unattended bot that does not know the clock will trade the print the account is not allowed to touch. Automation controls should have a news pause and a contract cap, not only an entry signal.
Rithmic and Tradovate still count how often you touch the order
Even a permitted assistant can fail the account by rewriting the stop on every tick. CME rate caps on Rithmic and Tradovate do not care that the strategy was profitable. A trail that updates in small steps, after price has actually moved a few points, stays quieter than a trail that chases every print. Quiet is the compliant version of the same idea.
Platforms on this desk are NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, and Rithmic. The futures account lives there. An MT5 terminal running beside it is a second connection, and it does not raise the firm's modification budget. If both sides move stops at once, you are spending the cap twice.
Automation does not widen $2,200 or the $3,000 trail
The hard daily loss is $1,100 on $50,000, $2,200 on $100,000, and $3,300 on $150,000. The trail is 3%. The Test marks it at 5:00 PM ET. PRO marks it intraday until the buffer is built. A bot that is allowed to run can still spend those dollars in a few minutes if the contract count is an E-mini and the stop is far.
One NQ is $20 a point. A permitted tool with a 40-point stop on two contracts risks $1,600, most of the $2,200 day, on a single idea. Permission to automate is not permission to size up. Keep the cash risk at about $500, which is 0.50% of $100,000, whether a person or a tool sends the order.
Put the flatten on the account the bot can see
Equity Guard should flatten a $100,000 day near $1,450, before the official $2,200. If the bot keeps a position open into that level, the guard is the backstop. It is not a substitute for the PRO intraday trail, which can end the account on open heat even while daily loss still shows a remainder.
Flat by 5:00 PM ET is a daily rule, including Friday into the weekend. A bot that swings overnight will break it without posting a losing trade. Create a Venasri login and turn the session end into a hard flatten, on the same card as the $1,450 loss stop.
