Hard $2,200 is not a soft daily guard
On $100K the daily formula is cash, not percent of lunchtime equity. Start-of-day balance $100,000. Hard floor $97,800. If NQ is -$2,050 floating at 10:40 ET you are still alive. If the next tick prints -$2,210, the Test or PRO account is done, even if you would have been fine on an End-of-Day-only desk. The 3% maximum is a second formula: $3,000 of trail room, measured at 5:00 PM ET during the Test and measured tick-by-tick on PRO until the buffer locks.
Worked $50K: daily $1,100, max $1,500-class trail depending on the posted schedule, target $3,000. Worked $150K: daily $3,300, max $4,500-class trail, target $9,000. You can start a free Venasri account and put those three sizes on one card so a $100K recap is not applied to a $50K Test.
The EOD-to-Intraday switch, in one NQ tape
Test week: you are +$1,900 floating on NQ at 11:10 ET. Price gives back $1,400. You close +$500. The EOD trail did not move, because the close is 5:00 PM ET and you never locked a higher closed balance. Same tape on PRO: the Intraday trail walked up by as much as $1,900 of peak equity, then the $1,400 giveback spent that newly raised floor. You can finish the day still green on the closed ledger and still be closer to a $3,000 fail than you were at the open.
That is the calculator you run every time you leave a runner on PRO. Either flatten into a $800 to $1,000 open-profit fade, or accept that the trail has moved and cut size in half. Set Venasri Equity Guard to flatten at $1,850 daily loss on $100K, and add a second PRO alarm at $2,400 of giveback from session peak equity so the Intraday trail cannot silently spend $2,000 of room you only had as a float.
50% Test consistency versus the $2,200 daily line
A $3,200 closed NQ day on the Test does not breach $2,200 daily (you are up). It does breach the 50% consistency cap on a $6,000 target and raises the hurdle to $6,400. The daily calculator says pass. The consistency calculator says you now owe more. Flatten session profit near +$2,700 on the Test if you want the original $6,000 target to survive. PRO drops that cap, which is not permission to size like a cash account against a live Intraday trail.
News is a third debit. A stop that runs 1 minute around FOMC, NFP, or CPI on PRO can be a rule event and still spend daily loss. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control can hold a matching 1-minute blackout if you keep an MT5 FX book, and it is a clean place to store the 16:50 ET flatten reminder so you are not still in NQ at 17:02.
Reset clock, buffer math, and the day-1 withdrawal
Daily reset is 5:00 PM ET, which is the CME futures close, not 00:00 Prague and not 4:59 PM CT. Convert your local close before you hold a late MES scalp. After you are on PRO, withdrawals are allowed from day 1 only above the buffer. Taking $500 out of a $700 buffer leaves $200 of Intraday air. Do the subtraction before you request the payout, not after the next NQ fade.
Guard settings that match the desk: daily flatten $1,850 on $100K, EOD max lock $2,550 during the Test, Intraday peak-giveback alarm $2,400 on PRO, news blackout 1 minute either side of FOMC/NFP/CPI, flatten-all at 16:50 ET. Those five numbers are the Take Profit Trader calculator. The 80% and 90% splits are what you collect after the trail stops moving without you.
