You paid $165 for a $2,500 afternoon
Daily loss is 2.5 percent, $2,500. Maximum loss is 3 percent, $3,000. Equity at $97,000 is the end. One day at the official line leaves $500, a single unit, under the floor. The evaluation has been sold from a Chicago futures desk since 2020, on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and TradingView. None of those platforms will warn you that the fee was small. They will fill the contract.
Phase 1 is $6,000. There is no second profit target. Thirty percent of $6,000 is $1,800. An even 7-day path is about $857 a day. Open a Venasri account and treat $857 as a complete session when you book it. A session that tries to book $3,000 is a consistency failure and, if it reverses, a floor failure.
FX, gold, and micros can all express $500, and one wide E-mini cannot
A 20-pip FX stop at 2.50 lots is $500. A 50-pip gold stop at 1.00 lot is $500. Four micro Nasdaq contracts at $2 a point with a 60-point stop are $480. One E-mini at 25 points is $500 and will not survive 13:30 UTC. One E-mini at 60 points is $1,200. Two of those losses are $2,400, the day in all but name. The structural index stop belongs on micros.
Five losses at $500 are the day exactly. Four are $2,000. A second day of four losses is $4,000, through the $3,000 floor. Bot controls should hard-stop the ticket at $500 and stop the session at $1,500 down or $1,500 up. Both ceilings are inside the official lines on purpose.
Name the trail before the first $500 ticket
Static leaves the $97,000 floor alone while you accumulate $6,000. End-of-day trailing can step it at 4:00 PM CT. Intraday trailing follows the high, and two E-minis giving back 75 points are the whole $3,000. If your plan uses micros, a 75-point dip is $2 per contract per point, which is survivable. If your plan uses two E-minis, the dip is the account. The step label, 1-step or 2-step, does not change these dollars.
Be flat before 4:00 PM CT every day, including the day you are up $1,700 and want the last $100. Funded blackouts of 2 minutes around Tier-1 are a later stage. Practicing the flat now is what makes that stage boring enough to pay 80 to 95 percent.
The working flatten is $1,750
Equity Guard at 1.75 percent is $1,750, which is $750 inside the day. Three and a half units fit underneath it. If it fires, tomorrow still exists, and the $3,000 floor has only been nicked. If you use $2,500 as the stop, tomorrow is a conversation with the firm. On an intraday contract, add a $1,500 giveback from the equity high so the trail is not your first exit.
The profit ceiling near $1,500, under the $1,800 share, is the partner setting. A guard that only understands loss will watch a $2,400 winner with approval. That winner is how a $6,000 target becomes an $8,000 target. Load both numbers.
