EOD, Intraday, or Static: pick the hole before the first MES lot
TradeDay, founded in 2020 in Chicago, sells a one-step futures evaluation with three drawdown contracts on the same 6% target ($6,000 on $100K). End-of-Day trailing is the default mental model: $3,000 of room that marks at the 4:00 PM CT CME session close. Intraday trailing walks with peak live equity, Apex-style. Static drawdown is the rare third choice: $3,000 below initial balance that does not walk up when you are in profit. Daily loss sits near 2.5% depending on the selected model. The $165 $100K fee includes live CME research commentary, which is the desk heritage, not a coupon.
Minimum trading days are seven. The 30% consistency target runs across those days: a single session that prints more than 30% of total profit automatically raises the required target. You can start a free Venasri account and store three TradeDay cards so a Static review is not applied to an Intraday login you actually bought.
2.5% daily, $3,000 max, flat before the CME close
On a $100K Static book the lifetime floor is $97,000 and it stays there after a +$2,400 day. On EOD trailing the floor can walk up with closed profits and then lock. On Intraday trailing the floor walks with open profits and can fail you on a pullback that Static would ignore. The 2.5% daily band is the intraday fence on models that publish one. Do not quote $2,200 from Bulenox or Take Profit Trader onto TradeDay. This desk's daily number is 2.5%, which is $2,500 on $100K.
Positions must be flat before the daily CME close. Funded accounts ban new risk 2 minutes before and after Tier-1 economic releases. Automation is permitted with written strategy disclosure and CME message-efficiency compliance. Set Venasri Equity Guard near $2,100 of daily open loss on $100K (0.40% in front of $2,500) and a separate Static lock at $2,550 of lifetime loss so a 4:00 PM CT spread print cannot tag $3,010.
Seven days and the 30% target-raising rule
Seven minimum days means a one-session $6,000 hero trade does not pass even on Static. The 30% consistency target then taxes that hero anyway: $2,100 on Monday is 35% of a $6,000 cycle and lifts the hurdle. The new target becomes Monday's profit divided by 0.30. That is the primary trap and it is unique in this set because TradeDay will raise the finish line rather than only delaying a payout.
Day-1 withdrawal eligibility starts once the funded buffer is met, at an 80% to 95% split. That speed is real only after the seven-day eval and the 30% math are clean. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control can hold a matching 2-minute news blackout if you also run an MT5 FX book, and it is a clean place to store a flatten-by-15:45 CT reminder so the 4:00 PM CT close is not a scramble.
Static is the blueprint if your open P&L is noisy
If your ES or NQ method shows $1,500 to $2,500 of open profit most mornings, Static is the TradeDay product that matches the tape. EOD trailing is the middle path. Intraday trailing is the Apex cousin and should be bought only if you scale out of open heat by habit. Written EA disclosure is required; silent black-box size is not. Keep CME message rates sane so the efficiency limit is not the fail that arrives before $2,500.
Map four numbers: daily flatten $2,100, Static or EOD max lock $2,550, consistency alarm at 25% of current cycle profit (so 30% never prints), flatten-all 15:45 CT. Those four locks are the TradeDay blueprint. The Chicago commentary and the day-1 funded withdrawal are what you collect after the seven days stay boring.
