Disclosure comes before the first automated order
TradeDay allows an automated strategy when the method is disclosed in writing and it complies with CME rules. That disclosure is the difference between a permitted tool and an unexplained order stream. It does not raise the 2.5 percent day or the 3 percent maximum. On $100,000 those figures stay $2,500 and $3,000, whether a person clicked or a model did.
The firm has operated from Chicago since 2020, on a futures stack, not on a spot-FX server cap measured in a round request count. If your disclosure describes one contract and the log shows four, the disclosure is already stale. Update it when the size, the session, or the instrument changes. Open a Venasri account and keep the same description next to the risk card so the live behavior matches the page you sent.
Message efficiency is a behavior limit, not a profit limit
CME message-efficiency limits punish orders that cancel and replace without a purpose. A stop, a breakeven move, and a handful of partials are a normal life for a trade. A bracket that chases every tick through the 13:30 UTC cash open is a message problem and a slippage problem at the same time. The 30 percent consistency rule will also notice if that chase happens to print a huge green day during the 7-day evaluation.
Scalping NAS100 or US30 into the opening whip is where bots get loud. Waiting for that first whip candle to settle is both a trading rule and a message rule. Fewer modifications after a real stop is in place will satisfy the efficiency test more reliably than a faster loop. Bot controls should ship the stop once, move it with a reason, and then leave the order alone.
A permitted bot still owes the $500 unit
Half a percent on $100,000 is $500. A disclosed strategy that risks $1,000 because the model is confident has doubled the unit and spent 1 percent. Two of those losses are $2,000 of a $2,500 day. The written page does not average that away. Four losses at the real $500 unit are $2,000, with $500 left in the day, which is a plan. The doubled version is a breach waiting for the third click.
News does not become legal because the bot is disclosed. Funded accounts stay out for 2 minutes before and after Tier-1 releases. A model that specializes in the CPI print needs a funded blackout even if the evaluation felt permissive. A stop that slips through that window still counts against the $2,500 day immediately.
Put the flatten outside the bot's own opinion
The bot's stop is one layer. Equity Guard is the layer that does not share the bot's opinion. Flatten at $1,750 on a $100,000 book, 1.75 percent, so a runaway loop meets a cash ceiling $750 before the official day. On an intraday trailing contract, add a ceiling on giveback from the equity high, because a bot that holds two E-minis can spend the $3,000 trail on a 75-point dip while its own logic still likes the trade.
Be flat before 4:00 PM CT. An automated strategy that rolls inventory into the CME close will meet the overnight rule and the daily line together. Disclosure should say the strategy is flat by that clock. If the disclosure says swing and the contract says flat, the contract wins.
