The dashboard is green and the hurdle moved
The consistency target says the best day stays inside 30 percent of evaluation profit across the minimum 7 days. Divide a $2,400 day by 0.30 and you get $8,000. The published Phase 1 number on $100,000 was $6,000. The extra $2,000 is the toll for the hero session. Traders go looking for a violation in the loss column and do not find one, because $2,400 is under the $2,500 day and far from a negative $3,000 floor.
The fix is a ceiling you set while the day is still small. About $1,800 is 30 percent of the original $6,000. Stopping near $1,500 leaves room for a late fill. Bot controls can halt new entries at that ceiling. They cannot unmake a day you already booked at $2,400, except by making more profit on other days until the share falls back to 30 percent.
The rollover is 4:00 PM CT, and it can create the oversized day
People call this failure a midnight rollover. The session mark is the CME close at 4:00 PM CT. A position that should have been flat, and is not, meets the next open as a gap. A 40-point Nasdaq gap on two E-minis is $1,600 at $20 a point. If that gap is a winner, it can be the piece that shoves an acceptable day through the 30 percent share. If it is a loser, it counts against the next 2.5 percent day immediately.
End-of-day trailing also updates on that mark. An open high that you were not allowed to hold can still affect the floor you come back to, depending on how the contract marks a position that broke the flat rule. The clean version is dull: be out, let the mark see closed profit, and start the next session with a best-day figure you already know. Create a Venasri login and set the cutoff in Central Time so a UTC midnight alarm is not the one you trust.
The other hidden loss is a giveback the blotter still calls a win
Intraday trailing spends the $3,000 maximum from the equity high. A trade that was up $3,000 and comes back to flat can end the account while every closed ticket is green or empty. That failure loves the same afternoon as the consistency failure: a fast open, a big unrealized high, a refusal to bank it, and a pullback. Two E-minis and 75 points are enough. The 30 percent rule may never get a chance to score the day because the trail already closed the book.
Static drawdown does not play that trick. The floor stays under the start. A static account can still fail the 30 percent test with a closed $2,400 winner, and it can still fail the flat rule. Drawdown style chooses which hidden breach you are exposed to. It does not grant immunity. If you do not know which style you bought, you are set up for the one you did not rehearse.
One ceiling for profit share and one for loss
Equity Guard at $1,750 stops the red version on a $100,000 book, $750 inside the $2,500 day. It will not blink at a $2,400 winner. You need a profit ceiling beside it, near $1,800, or the guard will faithfully protect a day that is busy failing a different rule. Use both numbers every session of the 7-day minimum.
Funded news windows make the hero day more likely, not less. Two minutes of blackout around Tier-1 will not save you if you enter on the fifth minute and catch the expansion. That expansion is the $2,400 day. Skip it. The pass is seven ordinary sessions whose best member is still under 30 percent of the total.
