The stop, the breakeven, and the four partials are one workflow
Manual Trade Guard is the layer that puts a stop on a fill immediately, moves that stop to breakeven after the first target, and scales out at four levels. On a $500 unit, a four-part exit might bank a quarter at a time, so each partial is about $125 of planned profit at 1R if the whole position was aimed at $500 of profit. The exact prices belong to the setup. The requirement is that they exist before you start dragging.
TradeDay will allow that kind of tool when the strategy is disclosed in writing and the message stream stays efficient. Four partials are a handful of modifications. Forty modifications of the same stop are a CME problem. Bot controls should send the bracket once and then change it only when a target is hit or the thesis is invalid.
Translate every partial into points before you trust a lot chart
If you think in MT5 lots, convert before the session. A $500 unit on one E-mini is a 25-point stop, because $20 a point times 25 is $500. The same unit on a micro is a 60-point stop across about four micros at $2 a point, which is $480. A gold mirror of $500 is 1.00 lot with a 50-pip stop. Mixing those templates without converting is how a partial closes the wrong amount and leaves an overnight stub.
The stub matters because the book has to be flat before 4:00 PM CT. A runner that was supposed to be the fourth partial, left on through the CME close, is an overnight position. The guard's last job of the day is to finish the flat, not to keep a heroic remainder. Open a Venasri account and include the flat time in the same preset as the four targets.
Efficiency limits are the reason the bracket stays boring
There is no published round number of requests in the TradeDay rule the way some FX firms publish one. The limit is CME message efficiency. That means you design for a quiet bracket: initial stop, breakeven, four partials, done. A scalper who repositions the stop every two seconds through the 13:30 UTC cash open will look non-compliant even if the cash result is small. Wait for the opening whip to settle, then place the structural 60 to 100 point idea in the right contract size.
Funded news blackouts still apply. A beautifully attached stop does not make a 2-minute Tier-1 window legal. If you are flat, the guard has nothing to do during those four minutes, and that is the correct state. If you are not flat, the stop will fill at the slip and the slip hits the $2,500 day on $100,000 immediately.
The position tools do not replace the daily flatten
Stops and partials manage one trade. Equity Guard manages the day. Set it at $1,750 on $100,000 so a sequence of valid-looking stops still ends $750 before $2,500. On an intraday trailing contract, add a giveback limit from the equity high. Partial exits can leave the high-water mark up while the remainder gives back the $3,000 trail. The position tool sees a runner. The trail sees the peak.
Disclosure should mention that a risk tool will attach stops and partials. A reviewer who sees breakeven moves and four exits can match them to the page you filed. A reviewer who sees a grid of pending orders cannot. Keep the preset boring, keep the message count low, and let the $1,750 flatten be the piece you do not override when you are down.
